What do you think happens to us after we die (i.e., reincarnation, heaven and hell, something else)?

I don't know the answer, OBVS, but I think absolutely nothing happens after we die. I think it's just like before we were born — nothing. One second you're here, the next you're gone.

Good one! What do you think happens to us after we die?

puddin' 07-10-2015 04:44 AM

i b'lieve in reincarnation, so i think we become someone or something else. pay it forward, as it were...

what is your favourite fruit/nut combination?

Hmmm....well, I'm not really a big nut person, per say.....*laughing*

Why is this funny to me, I have no idea. But, if I had to eat some......I would say it would be those little salted almonds they give you on flights. And the fruit would be papaya.

Do you believe, that you have met someone that you have known in a past life?

no... I can tell cause I've kept photos and telephone numbers of all the people I've met in past lives.

Do you believe in limiting freedom of speech in private situations/conversations?

I'm fairly verbally adept though I also like to wink and smile.

Do you look good in bell-bottom pants and a dashiki?

Damn, I am going to have to say I do not think I could pull that off or on as the case may be.

Do you think you would look good in a Dolly Parton wig?

I'd look fabulous but do you think that Dolly would get upset if her wig and push-up bra went missing?

Well I am guessing if you bought the wig - the push up bra is a bonus.

Have you ever gotten tired of taking the high road in certain situations?

Why ever would anyone tire of the high road given that the other is so base?

Unfortunately, the low road is more satisfying in the short term, than the high road.

What is your favorite guilty snack?

By far, ice cream.

Have you baked a Thanksgiving turkey on your own?

When my maternal grandmother passed away.

Do you look at the glass half empty or half full as an outlook on life?

At my age, I look back on a pretty full glass so if it's down a bit now I try to take it in my stride but isn't that how it's supposed to be?

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to be.

Knowing what you know now, what advice, if any, would you give a younger you?

1. Go to college right after graduating High School.

2. Head the advice of your grandmother instead of thinking you know everything.

3. Remember the world is not all about you - you are all about the world.

Do you ever think it is to late to change your career choice?

No, I dont think it's ever too late. One of my favorite actors, Sidney Greenstreet, didn't start acting until he was over 60-years old.

Do you have any tips on how to successfully work with someone I don't like. She's abrasive, rubs me the wrong way, and occasionally we have to work together.

Well as my Dad used to say - kill em' with kindness. I went threw this as well. Sometimes you just have to be the bigger person, and try to be cordial just not overly so. I have a hard time with that - because I speak my mind and rarely sugarcoat things. However, in the end is it really worth it to create more animosity?

What is the best advice you can give on opening the door to your heart?

That's sound advice. Thanks.

Opening the door is revealing yourself. I suggest you don't blow yourself up, but don't shrink away either. Just stand your ground and open your heart by letting the other person see just who you are.

What's the point of living—why are we here?

I believe (and this is me).. that we all have a purpose to fulfill... we may actually be doing it and not even know it... or sometimes the epiphany comes and we realize what should be doing or that what we are doing is our purpose.

Would you prefer to have a boat with a motor..or just a row boat?

JDeere 07-12-2015 06:43 PM
