Ya. I know about that one. I've mentioned it to Angie. I'm still investigating the cause of that.

If you are logged in when a message is sent, you will not receive a notification. Being logged in will still apply nearly 20-30 min after logging out. So if a message is sent within that time period, you won't receive a notification.

I wasn't online when the PM was sent.....when I have been logged in, I've still been getting email notification. I'm really confused by this technology stuff now, lol!

I'm afraid I need a refresher on how to embed a youtube video. When I follow the general instructions it just puts up a link.

I think I did it once a long time ago by cutting the url around the "v" somewhere, but I can't seem to remember where and just get a blank box.

Could someone please help me out with my forgetfulness?

There's a youtube icon at the top of the edit box, and when you select it, it prompts you for just this part --> 8uhiW5YqM38 of the share/imbed code.

I'm having trouble putting images in my posts. I click the insert images thingy and copy and paste the URL but it shows up in posts as a little blue question mark box. What am I doing wrong?

because what you are posting is not a url for an image, it's the url a for google preview of an image.

get the actual url of the image and use that instead.

click at the side of the google page where it says 'see full size image'. that will take you to the actual image.

Right click the picture then select Copy Image Location (It will be something similar if you don't use Win7) Then select the image icon as you were doing, right click and Paste.

Not crazy. I did some modifications. Technically, regular members weren't supposed to have the ability to have signatures at all (see here: http://www.butchfemmeplanet.com/inde...=subscriptions --> Signature ability shouldn't show up until BFP Supporter II). I didn't completely remove that but slightly modified it to take away some of the more "advanced" options.

So, does this mean as a Sentinel member that I can't have a pic in my signature?

Basic members cannot.

Anyone that is BFP Supporter II and above can. I double checked and Sentinel members do have that ability.

i had a picture in my sig line and today it stopped working. i had to upload the picture from my hard drive and it worked that way. using a picture from photobucket didn't work. guessing that applies to any other website photo.

I tried what Handsome Devil suggested and that worked. I haven't tried posting one from a website though.
