He is doing so much better, he is still not awake but he is slowly getting there. His creatinine is down to 1.7 almost in normal range. He is taking breaths on his own with the help of the vent and at times fighting the vent! They had to strap down his left arm because he keeps trying to disconnect the trach. He is getting really agitated with the vent and this is damn good sign!!! Thank you all for the warm thoughts and prayers, they are working! :vigil: |

I have a friend of 30+ years that just lost her grown daughter yesterday to a brain tumor(s), She was in a nursing home being cared for because the tumor(s) kept coming back after surgeries. She leaves behind a little girl that my friend will raise. Today I say a prayer and will think about the woman I remember as a child herself. How full of life she was and the woman she grew into. There are no words that can take away my friends pain, so I'll leave a candle burning in her memory.
