My mind immediately started racing towards thoughts of a prospective wedding, pre-nupital agreements and whether or not we'd start a family with children or, rather, with cats (I understand that litter training cats is easier and less stressful than potty training kids so I favour the cats option). I tend to be a quick mover and don't really do all the flirting and dating stuff as I'd rather watch baseball.

And then I looked at the comment again. I had misread it as "adorable" when it actually said "adorkable". In a second, my ego and vanity was crushed. I had always hoped to be some sort of sex idol or such like .... but, in fact, I'm incredibly dorkish. That's surprising as, whilst I'm socially inept, I can't even properly work my iPhone.

That said, I'll need to try to use this dorkish image to my advantage i.e. if I meet a really nice femme, I can now try to chat her up by saying that, although I mightn't be great in bed, I'd be happy to try to fix her hard drive. Anyone think that could work?

Never underestimate the power of dorkishness!

Hey, it is nice to find out that, even if you are already in a relationship with someone else, that someone has a crush on you. That someone admires you, and thinks you are pretty cool.

I wrote once in this thread about how I had small crushes on some here in the Planet, even though I am madly-in-love with someone else. I have fellow-Femme crushes, and crushes on some of the Butches here too. I admire their writing, their energy, their style. I enjoy hanging out with the local ones, love meeting up with others when I travel or at the Reunion.

Those crushes have no bearing on my relationship with my gf. They just enrich me in this world.

And Ciaran, I adore the "adorkable" tag you were given! As someone who is very non-tech-able, I have great respect and awe at those who know their way around a hard drive! *grinning*

Sometimes I have to replace my hard drive because of overuse... viruses aren't ever an issue if you take the appropriate precautions up front.

Hello Crushers, hoping your day is a crushable one. :)

Not crushing anyone on the Planet but have a wicked crush on the barista at the Starbucks down the road :)

For ME....anyone can crush anyone..it is a secret admiration....usually about something I find attractive about them..ie: a brilliant mind, a sense of humor, maybe their aura I sense, or their heart....my crushes aren't about any specific gender or with the intent & purpose of "falling madly in love & cohabitating for life"...it is simply an admiration of some one or more of their attributes..their moral compass..their fabric of life..or their heart for others...or the incredibly sexy intelligence...I can, and do crush often...and in no way does those crushes have any affect on my relationship with the girl...being confident & secure in myself and in my relationship allows for my heart strings to be tugged by others...in any or all ways I mentioned above...BTW I DO tell my crush(es) I am crushing.......(f)

i agree...Anyone can crush Anyone...i've got several of my own here on the planet and in the real world and they're across the spectrum...i'm secure enough in my relationship that any crush Clay may have does not make me feel insecure (nor do my crushes have that effect on hym) because i know it's just a crush and for each of us crushing is an admiration of something about someone and does not represent sexual or romantic interest in that person...

It might be powerful but I'd rather be a David Gandy-type than a Woody Allen-type :lol2:

Me? I am a queer femme of sorts. I am very fluid. The whole "rule book" thing makes me yawn.

Soooo who is ready for some good times? Anyone have plans for the 4th?

I just love you guys!
:rrose:

Not sure what I am doing on the 4th other than vegging out... Would be nice to have a cookout but one must have a grill to cookout.. sigh... I will buy one someday... I just moved here so we havent made alot of friends... I love a good get together with friends on a holiday...

Mr Nice Guy 07-01-2012 12:39 PM

Wolfy, it IS your dimples, and your poetry, but also your dancing skills, and those crazy, soft, melt-your-heart-eyes, and your sense of humor, and that huge heart of yours. We so need to get you moved here to central AR, just so we can see you more often! And Wolfy, when you do find that wonderful woman that sees the incredible catch you are, and she wants to snatch you up, don't be surprised that there are a bunch of femmes (and butch bros) that will be watching closely, to make sure she is good enough for you!

(alright, before anyone goes all wonky here, I already had posted something a long time ago that I had a crush on Wolfy. A real-live "I think Wolfy is one of the nicest people I have ever met"-kind of crush. )

Awwww shucks, now I'm
Good thing no one can see it, but me :|
I am sure you can feel it from this close of a distance though
