All this Misty talk does two things:

One: I think of Clint Eastwood (Play Misty for Me)

and

Two: I remember a girl I used to know named Misty Dawn (perhaps not surprisingly, this is a very popular name in the South). She was built like a line backer and had interestingly shaped innie boobs. While not physically attracted to her, I was fascinated by her. I'd never seen inverted nipples before.

So, hearing/seeing Misty makes me think of inverted nipples and Clint Eastwood.

SuperFemme 04-18-2010 06:51 PM

Clearly, Gemme has just shown us what happens when one over waters a Misty.

No, Misty is not a silk plant. In fact I am so concerned for Misty and her welfare that I have taken the time to smudge her with a bit of sage smoke. Yep, no joke.

(Don't judge me, I'm from California. We do things like this)

I'm from Cali too. I smudge everything too. Well, not the plants. But hey, I'm willing to give it a try if it wards off inverted nipples.

While I admit, they were unique, at least she never had to worry about whether one was hard while one was not or showing the nips in slinky dresses (not that she would wear any...not her style, but still...).

SuperFemme 04-18-2010 07:24 PM

I'm feeling sassy and willing to bet you a hundred bucks I could extrovert the introverted nips.

this is me giving you a raspberry:

I wonder if my kid has to wear her magic underwear during birth? Guess I'll find out.

I think it would all depend on whether those there "magic underwear" are what got her pregnant in the first place.

I hope not. They are them Mormon magic underwears, which she and the son in law always wear. I have no idea about Mormon traditions. Like, Scientologists are supposed to be quiet and not scream during birth...what about the Mormons?

I surprised they are letting the gay in the delivery room to be honest.

Well it's no wonder Tom Cruise is the only scientologist left.
Mormons I believe are allow to throw horse shit, good defense I'd say.
I guess they don't worry about the gays getting anyone pregnant so we are safe there.

WTF???? from joemygod

Catholic Bishop: It's All Because Of Porn

Bishop Felipe Arizmendi is blaming the Catholic church's global pedophilia scandal on television and internet porn.
"With so much invasion of eroticism, sometimes it's not easy to stay celibate or to respect children," Bishop Felipe Arizmendi said during an annual meeting of Mexican bishops near Mexico City on Thursday. "If on television and on the Internet and in so many media outlets there is pornography, it is very difficult to stay pure and chaste," said Arizmendi, an influential bishop from the colonial town of San Cristobal de las Casas in southern Mexico. "Obviously when there is generalized sexual freedom it's more likely there could be cases of pedophilia," he added. The bishop was in charge of the formation of priests for two decades in Mexico but said that loose morals in society had made it difficult to keep seminarians committed to the faith

WTF?? Oh yeah, the devil made them do it... Not the fact that the Catholic priesthood is built upon a patriarchal power structure that fits the predatory nature of pedophilia like a glove!!! Power and secrecy!!!

These assholes would be offending no matter what vocation they were in! And if one buys this theory, one is buying into blaming of the victim, hook, line and sinker!

I ate everything in my refrigerator. Now, it's time for dessert. What? I have a voracious appetite.

Nina 04-19-2010 03:57 PM

the guy at the post office yelled at me today...it *is* possible that I over -packed a flat rate box...it's my thought that it gets boring with all the endless parade of flat boxes...mine, with it's bulging dome top is going to be a relief to the boredom...*shrug* he took it, the box and the money, so I assume it will arrive at it's destination...I sure as fuck hope so!!

then I worry if the contents will be satisfactory...one can hope...and do the best one can...

the other package, of the baked goods which I made yesterday, will be the right thing, that I know since I have been baking and sending for years...every 3 weeks or so...it's okay, at least I now only have to bake and send to one person...

I am trying to resist putting an order in to Zabar's...see how I do tomorrow with my resistance...I made it through today since, by now, it's too late to call them...

I feel that I have fulfilled the title of this thread...I yapped just 'cause I felt like it...can't say it was of much entertainment value...it was all true, though!

Awwww, come on, my friend....

Patriarchal power structure does not make a person attracted to prepubescent children.

Don't you think you are reaching a bit on this one?

Oh, yup, I do, friendly poke!

No, I get what you are saying and agree. My comments are about the power dynamic of molestation/sex abuse and how powerful priests are regarded to be to Catholic school kids. I probably wasn't being clear. So much is really not sexually related with certain types of abusers. Its about power and control. Something that I see missing often in the reports of the catholic priest cases is information about the priests actual attraction to children.

The Catholic hierarchy just strikes me with the numbers of reported cases. And of course being raised Catholic and having been subjected to it as a female.
