DomnNC 10-06-2010 07:28 AM

Tonight I am making bbq ribs for my Daddy cuz he says there's not a restaurant out there that can touch my ribs. I think he's perhaps a tad biased. When I told him I was making him ribs tonight he said oh good, it's my last day working this week so I can make a pig out of myself, lol. Now I have to decide what I'm going to make to go with them!

Gemme 10-06-2010 03:24 PM

It's going to be turkey tacos tonight.

Arwen 10-06-2010 03:27 PM

I want take-out but my checkbook insists on eating my last chicken breast. So, to honor my budget, I'll make some creole rice and reheat that chicken and call it delicious.

Tomorrow I'm doing take-out though.

lipstixgal 10-06-2010 04:16 PM

All I had was pizza from Whole Foods and a diet pepsi going to have my dessert now and that's it...oh maybe yogurt later

AtLast 10-06-2010 04:22 PM

In the midst of some landscape stuff snd yard things that need to be done before the rains. Plus, a neighbor will be knocking down and replacing our common fense soon- so lots to deal with there due to having a dog. Goodbye privacy for a bit! I can only do so much at once due to arthritis pain and stiffness.... soooooooooo... there will be a few days of easy dinners! Even salads out! Can't do it all and cook, too.

SnackTime 10-06-2010 04:42 PM

Well, dinner didn't work out as anticipated. Actually, I think I liked how it worked than what it would have been. We wound up eating steamed broccoli (Organic had Velveeta cuz he can't take it straight up), big salads, a Granny Smith apple, and oven made hamburgers. Yummmmmy!

And with this talk of peanut sauce, and Organic piping up with "I know how to make that; it's good!", I think lunch tomorrow might include some chicken and peanut sauce. :tease:

Gemme 10-08-2010 11:40 AM

I'm not positive but I'm thinking either chicken with sauted veggies and some rice or Asian Helper Chicken Fried Rice. Either way, I'm pretty sure there's going to be some chicken and some rice.
