Sounds like mine Dapper, minus the weeding. This whole being an adult thing is for the birds.

Bèsame* 05-26-2018 07:53 AM

So far it's been a river crossing, cows in the pastures watching, old barn spotting kinda of morning.

Oh so much more to come...

I agree!

Except, right now I am going to cheat and take the dog for a hike.

Leigh 05-26-2018 11:56 AM

I get to go to a friend's wedding. Very much looking forward to dressing up ❤️

Blade 05-26-2018 12:42 PM

Softball ESPN til at least 7 tonight

RockOn 05-26-2018 01:58 PM

I thought it would be raining today but not yet! I was able to mow the backyard. I go to it very slow, only in 15 minute segments - don't want to make those little f-uped diskies (discs) worse. I am honestly so tired of babying them but I must say the sciatic thing in my right leg is not as bad right now. I am so thankful.

Anyway, came in a little while ago, peeled off wet clothes, showered and about to take a nap with the pups. :)

Gemme 05-26-2018 02:31 PM

I wished one of my very favorite people ever a very happy birthday, went to the gym, ate, showered, shopped, watched TV and ate lunch, crafted and am still watching some TV and on and off crafting. Dinner's in less than 2 hours and I have Gone in 60 Seconds on in the background while I play online and watch my furries nap near me. I'll continue with the crafting and some organization and that will likely be all for today. I'm keeping it super simple today.

Orema 05-27-2018 06:07 AM

– Clean bathroom and kitchen
– Fold laundry
– Give myself mani/pedi
– Binge watch Bar Rescue
– Make some body butter
– Have dinner with her on the phone

MrSunshine 05-27-2018 06:27 AM

coffee:hanging:

Blade 05-27-2018 07:04 AM

Not sure yet. Thought about riding down to Sumter to the Iris festival. Thought about riding up to Waynesville. Thought about going up to the campground just to see what kind of campers are up there getting ideas.

So far all I've done is feed the fur kids and wash dishes. Yeah I have a dull boring life lol

Chad 05-27-2018 07:48 AM

Agenda

More mowing this morning. House cleaning this afternoon.

Rest tonight.

Gemme 05-27-2018 08:58 AM

I still have work to do and then afterwards, I'm thinking about going to Savers. It's 50% off of everything and mine sometimes has really nice books and magazines that I can use for crafts. I'm not sure though. The sale is on tomorrow too.

RockOn 05-28-2018 03:40 AM

note back to Gemme

Sales are great!

Providing the weather is not rough and I have time, I may have to go check out Tractor Supply today. Sure do need a cant hook!

Good luck to you on finding a good sale on just what you want. :)

Canela 05-28-2018 05:14 AM

Mmmmm coffee then work. Enjoy your day off y’all!

Chad 05-28-2018 07:03 AM

Agenda

I plan to rest and enjoy the day with the kitties.

I've decided to not go as I would be looking at small furniture and periodicals and that doesn't seem to be on sale so I won't battle the masses. No loss, though. I really don't 'need' anything. I was just going to see what was there. My pocketbook appreciates me staying home.

What is a cant hook? Seems like it would be counterproductive in some way....*shrug*

So my revised agenda is to keep the TV running in the background while I do crafts. I ran into a snag yesterday so I have to rework something and go in a different direction or completely revise my vision and start over. I will also tackle the kitchen. I expect to toss a couple bags of trash and have one or two bags of donateables by the end of the day. I already have a bag to put in recycling so there will likely be one more of that by then too.

RockOn 06-04-2018 01:40 PM

answering Gemme's question

Gemme, a cant hook is a logging tool used to roll logs. It somewhat lessens a need for brute strength in most cases. Also, there are people who call it a peavy. Some of these tools are a combination log roller and log lifter.

BBB?

Bath? Bed? Broom closet?

Better Business Bureau? They make boxes too?

:eyebat:

Well, I didn't get everything done. I didn't make spaghetti or wash my sheets but I did find something I'd been thinking about/looking for for a while now so that's good. I had a killer workout and I ate CHEESE to celebrate National Cheese Day and I have a load of laundry in the dryer. I even ironed out a work problem on my day off. That's got to count for something, right?

JDeere 06-05-2018 06:23 AM

Take dog to get the last of her shots
Pack up things in boxes
Clean up my closet

clay 06-05-2018 09:20 AM

Mandatory Hurricane Preparedness meeting with property manager.
Last year Irma went right over this building...all that happened was ripped screens off windows, torn up front awning, & some flooding downstairs.

This building is 40 yrs old & has withstood FOUR major hurricanes virtually unscathed. It IS THAT solid!

tantalizingfemme 06-05-2018 09:26 AM

Homework
Workout
Laundry

Kätzchen 06-05-2018 09:36 AM

Grocery shopping
Two phone calls (health stuff)
Shop for my mom's birthday prezzie (she will be 79 in July).

Reach *BANNED* 06-05-2018 10:01 AM

So far two appointments are done and over with.

Now I am trying to figure out the food situation.

Then I am going to do some shopping, I think.

Happyfemme 06-05-2018 10:19 AM

I have three meetings today all three are supervision to review supervisees oversight policies and evidence-based practice trainings. Then after work I will review my dissertation notes from my professor, prepare for the class I teach at the college, take a walk, and figure out dinner. Everything after work will include my silky terrier 🐕.

Happyfemme 06-07-2018 04:40 PM

Today I had three meetings then went to the college to review some documentation for the field placements. The students I teach are wonderful. Tonight I am running some errands and taking a walk. All with my silky of course.

JDeere 06-07-2018 04:45 PM

Ummm lets see....

Go to store
Clean up after the puppy

Happyfemme 06-08-2018 05:05 PM

Two committee meetings, one IT meeting, and one licensure meeting. Tonight running errands with my silky.

RebelDyke 06-08-2018 06:28 PM

Better safe than sorry my friend...I live on an island and if they say evacuate, I'm evacuating, no question...lol

Canela 06-09-2018 10:38 AM

We're expecting storms they say, so I am going to take advantage of the beautiful weather now and swim in my pool for a bit this afternoon.

My Mom, youngest daughter and 2 lil g-babies are all coming over to spend the afternoon with me. We haven't done this since Mother's day!

That's all I have on my agenda for today :tea:

JDeere 06-09-2018 10:40 AM

As least as possible. Class had to be rescheduled due to not all background checks were done yet.

So its nap time with the puppy.

clay 06-09-2018 12:43 PM

Doing some fun for my own stuff crafts, cuddling with Hope, & maybe laundry late this evening when everyone else is asleep in the building..lol.

I have these foil sheets (copper, gold, & silver) that have premade designs that you scratch off to reveal dolphin or turtles or herons. I now have my new glasses so I may tackle one of those.

A fun day...well all my days are "fun days". That comes with being retired.

MrSunshine 06-09-2018 01:34 PM

I got home, it's kind of a small miracle lol.

2qt 06-09-2018 02:05 PM

Moving into the new house.... Starting all over again.... :seeingstars:

LOQUI 06-09-2018 04:36 PM

In theory there was supposed to be lots of reading and writing on my agenda for today, but my body seemed to be inclined towards the option of: "ok, let's spend the Saturday being lazy and sleeping!" Plus, the nice breeze through the window and the moving in the breeze of palm and other trees hasn't been "helping" much!
So, I subdued myself and let the flow of nature lead me with its wisdom and benefits...

Ahem, in other words, I have been lazy today!
But enough of that....time to work...back to the agenda...kind of (?!)
:byebye:

girl_dee 06-09-2018 04:53 PM

what WAS on the agenda:

assembly two end tables- they look complicated..

what happened was:

i played in the yard all morning and gave myself a headache

however, i DID get the pond/fountain cleaned out and running again...
