I took advantage of the extra hour of sleep. Busy week ahead. I have moved into a new position at work as the Sales Coordinator which means no more outside sales. Yeah! Ni more Saturdays and home by five. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead! Peace Okiebug |

I was whining on the phone last night to my Mom, complaining that the house is a mess, I need to do laundry, and it seems like it will never all get done. She advised me to start with the laundry, don't even think about the other stuff, then as I get the laundry done think about doing just one thing at a time. She said that's how she does it. I have gotten a lot done today with this method. Also, the extra hour of sleep helped. Tiny Dog has an upset tummy, so she is getting lots of babying. I will make her some chicken broth and rice for dinner, and take her off her regular food for a day or two. I didn't get around to shopping on Kroger Clicklist until too late today, so I won't be able to pick up my groceries until tomorrow. I might just go into the store instead. I can put off buying all the heavy stuff for another week or so. Now, I think it is time for a break with warm cocoa. :tea: Have a great week, everyone! |
Good day folks! Read sunday paper had gas fireplace going as we were having a little snow action....Went to tri-plex to sign a year lease with old tenant. Watching Seahawks and staying warm.

Laundry is done and We've eaten so the official 'chores' of the day are done. I still have to get ready for and go to work and there are some 'unofficial' chores that need to be done tonight, but so far, the morning's great!

I slept in and now watching CBS Sunday Morning News via DVR. I plan to do as little as possible today. I will play with the kitties, watch football, and eat when I am hungry. I hope that everyone has a happy Sunday, Chad |
Busyness will lead to easy later. The Xmas tree is up and decorated. The inside of the house is decorated. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Now, its off to the deck to pack away the furniture and clean up - I'm ignoring it feels like and looks like snow is coming this afternoon. Will be finished by 1pm. Then it is back into flannel jammies, sliding back under the covers, and overdosing on football for the rest of the day. |

I've had the little Christmas tree up all year long....my BFF and her husband gave it to me last year, right after I came home from the nursing home. So it's either been on my dining room table or sitting on top of my kitchen refrigerator. ....it's on the dining room table with a unique Nutcracker I found at an yard sale, earlier last summer. I love Christmas, and keep my Christmas tree up all year long as an tinder of friends, family and loved ones. I can't see well, the new glasses aren't helping much, so until I get back to the eye doctor this week, I will just read from larger print books here at home....and entertain myself with ongoing art projects and correspondence I'm working on. I dont have any TV here at home, so there's that! LOL Last night my BFF called me and invited me to share in their big family get together for Thanksgiving. They rent an community hall for their family dinners for special occasion, so it will be nice to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with her family. I'm treating both of us to go see the Charles Dickens movie over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I'm looking forward to girl time that weekend! I hppe every one has a lovely Sunday! :rrose: |

Red and I are enjoying the crisp fall weather and making our Christmas lists. We discovered during the conversation that we like many others have trapped in the overwhelming commercialisim for over 50 + years. Stressing over what everyone wants instead of giving what we want to give. Our lists are much smaller this year and we are at ease with our decisions. Peace Okiebug |

We had breakfast and are being pretty lazy today. Just one official chore between Us and then We'll set for the day. We've got a lot of TV to watch. I'm thankful for a day off without much to do.

We woke to a chilly morning, yes a fall day, finally!
Coffee was enjoyed, as we listened and reminisced over the 70's music channel. I was finishing up decorating the tree and house. I made him German Pancakes. And then the afternoon came, and we walked to the movies and to share popcorn! There may or may not have been popcorn thrown in my hair, to make it look like someone else was tossing it...lol....yes, I was with the jokester.. |
