Not a film I've seen but one I want to see. The Making of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, with Helen Mirren as Hitch's wife. :movieguy::bath:

That is so cool, I can't imagine what it will be like. I read the book years ago and still have it today in my Hitchcock collection.

Just saw Safe with Jason Stathem. Not sure why I love his movies so much, but I do.

Saw "Chimpanzee" yesterday with Pop. It was seriously good, but not quite the same caliber as "March of the Penguins", which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a nice little escape to the show with a tasty bag of popcorn in tow. :winky::popcorn:

I'm going to give my BFF, Irenie, a call today to see if she wants to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" with me today. It's a movie about a bunch of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirements to India, because of the lower costs and "exotic" appeal. It promises to be quite funny and I love British humor!!! Also, I just adore Dames Maggie Smith and Judi Dench!!! :awww::popcorn:

It started out kind of cheesy, and I thought, oh no...another crappy sequel...but then it ramped up, and it was freaking me out as much as the first one. I recommend watching this right before bedtime...No. Unless your brave like me :)

Sometimes, I just enjoy bad movies. They make me laugh. So in the past two days I've watched...

and...

Michael Shanks' movies are always great for an eye rolling good time...So, I'm in the middle of watching...

Oh...I forgot, I watched this one again the other day...I love the references to Mt.Saint Helen's, and the PNW shots...Last time I watched it, I was living in AZ, it was much more enjoyable this time, because I have been exploring so much of the PNW, including the local volcanoes.

Salmon Fishing on the Yemen. It was a cute story, but didn't enjoy the bad stereotypes and somewhat cheesy script.

Thinking about seeing Bully tonight.

:)

A Dangerous Method

Amazing cast, story line, and historical setting. Keira Knightly's acting is beyond impressive.

Kobi 05-06-2012 03:56 PM

Fireflies in the Garden - Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Julia Roberts

The inner and ugly workings of an outwardly successful family after the accidental death of its matriarch. Very powerful and well done.

Flypaper - Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd

Two sets of robbers descend on the same bank. Very odd but very funny in a modern keystone cop sort of way.

SoulShineFemme 05-06-2012 04:22 PM

I watched The Sitter with ONLY last night. It was twisted and funny. :)

cara 05-06-2012 06:43 PM

I saw Bully today. I've got a lot of thoughts, but none of them are very cohesive at the moment. I was teary through the entire movie.

nycfem 05-06-2012 06:44 PM

Me too, check out the thread on Bully that Scuba started.
