Not a film I've seen but one I want to see. The Making of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, with Helen Mirren as Hitch's wife. :movieguy::bath:
|
Scarlett Johansson was on Leno the other night and raved about what a great Hitchcock Anthony Hopskins was..can't wait to see it too!

Not Bad
" I Am Number Four"
It was ok, though I preferred numbero Seis.... |
Saw "Chimpanzee" yesterday with Pop. It was seriously good, but not quite the same caliber as "March of the Penguins", which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a nice little escape to the show with a tasty bag of popcorn in tow. :winky::popcorn:
I'm going to give my BFF, Irenie, a call today to see if she wants to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" with me today. It's a movie about a bunch of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirements to India, because of the lower costs and "exotic" appeal. It promises to be quite funny and I love British humor!!! Also, I just adore Dames Maggie Smith and Judi Dench!!! :awww::popcorn: ~Theo~ :bouquet: |
Finally saw Hunger Games last weekend with The Boy. Want to see The Raven and Dark Shadows soooooon.
|
"everybody's fine" was a good film... though i'm not sho' why it's classed as a comedy.

It started out kind of cheesy, and I thought, oh no...another crappy sequel...but then it ramped up, and it was freaking me out as much as the first one. I recommend watching this right before bedtime...No. Unless your brave like me :) Sometimes, I just enjoy bad movies. They make me laugh. So in the past two days I've watched... http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...0,214,317_.jpg and... http://content9.flixster.com/movie/1...852427_det.jpg Michael Shanks' movies are always great for an eye rolling good time...So, I'm in the middle of watching... http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...0,214,317_.jpg |
Oh...I forgot, I watched this one again the other day...I love the references to Mt.Saint Helen's, and the PNW shots...Last time I watched it, I was living in AZ, it was much more enjoyable this time, because I have been exploring so much of the PNW, including the local volcanoes.

Salmon Fishing on the Yemen. It was a cute story, but didn't enjoy the bad stereotypes and somewhat cheesy script.
Thinking about seeing Bully tonight. :) |
A Dangerous Method
Amazing cast, story line, and historical setting. Keira Knightly's acting is beyond impressive. |
Fireflies in the Garden - Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Julia Roberts The inner and ugly workings of an outwardly successful family after the accidental death of its matriarch. Very powerful and well done. Flypaper - Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd Two sets of robbers descend on the same bank. Very odd but very funny in a modern keystone cop sort of way. |
I watched The Sitter with ONLY last night. It was twisted and funny. :)
|
I saw Bully today. I've got a lot of thoughts, but none of them are very cohesive at the moment. I was teary through the entire movie.
|
Me too, check out the thread on Bully that Scuba started.
