The artistic creative juices flowing from me don't course along that river though.. My creative work can be stimulated from many things, and turn into many things. Of that, so far, I am planning on at least one page for each Chapter, to include mixed media, photography, painting, sketching, etc., and the word Planet isn't part of my endeavor. At the Reuinion we watched as pixie created Event items, and organized 70 some items for the raffle. So, I have no doubt binding all of our work will be exciting and fun for her. I am utterly confused about the project for the reunion. How can anyone sign up to do it if we arent sure what to do?
My finances are my biggest concern. I would love to participate but I need to know what is being done so I can guage if I can afford to do it. |
What I'm getting is this we can do as many pages as we want up to 6 PLANET or not, but something related to BFP.
I'm doing ENT, leaving space for binding the pages so Pixi can bind it into book form. That's my take on it. |
Softness, you can do one page if you want to keep it simple. Pick a letter from PLANET. For example, say you pick "L" then you can do one page of art called Leaping Lesbians or Lusty Llamas or whatever you want that begins with "L." Make sure your page is smaller or equivalent to the size of a piece of typing paper. Then mail your finished piece to Pixie and she will bind it. She will make magic happen!

Just a thought... this would mean more money being raised for BFP... Since it appears that some people are feeling rather creative why couldn't we make books or something similar as long as it spells out PLANET and raffle off each design? Mind you this is just a thought and I have had a long day and my brain is fried so perhaps I shouldn't be thinking... But, what the heck... The cards are beautiful, and it was our first attempt in making more than one card at a time....You have all inspired us about what to do with cards we would make in the future.....And......We know to put names on the cards for the next time....Sooooo.....nycfembbw----we will begin with your post secrets swap with the names......:)

I haz printed goodies from the net. I haz put my primary box of crafty goods on the bed (my current, well only workplace) and I have a clear vision of what I want my finished product to look like.

I received my valentine's Friday night, but only now have had time to look at them. I'm amazed, enlightened, and inspired. I :stillheart: and cherish each one!

I opted for a little different route for this project. Actually, this project has been different from the get go. For one, I'm done. ANNNND, I did it all in one sitting. :blink:
Well, I still need to tweak a thing or two here and there and use more adhesive in spots, but for the most part, I'm done. I've also done WAAAAY more than I need to. So, Jennifer, there will be extras left over. Pick the ones that you feel suits everyone the best and then just send whatever's left over back to me, per usual. I also have a common theme. The last time we did a PostSecrets project, I was all over the place. This one is simple. Silence. The act of silencing. The results of being silenced and losing one's voice. You'll see the flow of it, Jennifer, but I figured I'd throw this out there for those who may get my more ambiguous cards and wonder what the 'secret' is. |

I confess... I know... wrong thread but this is where it belongs... I went over to my sisters house with ill intentions and took her coupons for Michael's and went back and bought MORE stuff... I am in creative heaven... Is it possible to have TOO much fun while being creative?
