Finally getting to meet a very good friend of mine, I have been talking to for many many years.. in the flesh!! Talking daily sometimes for over 14 years, and we are going for dinner, drinks and live music... soooo excited!!!

Jack's first birthday party today!!! I'm so excited!
He has just started running - he mostly skipped the walking stage - and now dashes about flapping his arms and hands for balance and giggling. He's quite comfortable as the centre of attention (imagine that! quelle surprise!) so he'll be in his element today, so many people to charm - so little time. (It even makes a car trip with my mother and her husband bearable ... with the aid of my ipod and kindle, of course. It has recently dawned on me *this* is one of the main missions of grandchildren -to create a bridge between the generations.) |
Dinner with a sexy lady tonight. Although I'm not looking forward to the hour-and-a-half drive to get to her.
