I have a lot on my mind today. Big changes coming very soon and I don't know where to start. Have I made the right choices so far??? Only time will tell. I sure hope so. I guess I should make a list.

our Phoebe missing now two days we have posts on the news and all over she is just so shy and sweet I miss her like crazy.. Then our neighbor finds a dog wandering so now there is a male German Sheppard in our back yard we will call the city on monday but I WANT MY PHOEBE

I'm a bit cranky ... I am not in the mood for this gathering today ... but I have Mare for the next three days ... It's the little things that make me smile. |
Not making it to see my grandma before she passed away. She died 2 hours before I was supposed to leave this morning :( I wish I would have left last night. It's heavy on my mind.

I have a lot on my mind today. I got to talk to an old friend, which was a bonus.
It's too hot here as well. I'm alone in the house although I do have the dogs. It is so peaceful and nice and cool. The quiet gives you time to reflect and I am not sure I want to reflect right now. I sometimes wonder.. what the hell are you doing?? Unfortunately, at this time, I can't answer even my own question. I hope things begin to get clearer soon. They just have to... |

All of the folks affected by this massive storm system in the East...namely Ohio, Va, W.Va., Washington, and any places else that are affected....and there is more to come according to NWS!....the folks without power, and this dreaded heat....my heart goes out tonight...and as oppressive as this heat is..knowing many tonight are without power, water, air, and such...if I could I would bring everyone here with me...:(. Holding everyone close in my heart, wishing speedy resolutions for these dilemmas...and condolences for the families who have lost loved ones.....death toll is 13.....:(.

I wish I had the money to go buy several pallets or even a truck load of air conditioners to distribute to the elderly and disabled around the community here, where I work as a civil servant in health care. I see such misery from the heat. I just walked my dogs, when I stepped out, the heat and humidity slammed me!! It's only 9am. This is time where I believe all the large offices that serve the poor and underprivileged and all the schools should open up.under an emergency order as 'cool off stations. Most areas have elderly services but it's just not enough for the larger population.

Canada Day?
What exactly ...IS... Canada Day? What do you celebrate? How do you celebrate? Is it like Independence Day? President's Day? .... Halloween? Curious.

Jist its a wonderful thing! They celebrate it like 4th of July in the states, maybe even more... they have barbecues, fairs and fireworks. Everything is closed so it's a day off tomorrow.
I am told it's Canada Independence Day :) |
