Not long ago, I saw some ducks being extremely romantic. And today, I saw the 10 little products of their romance. The waddled on thru the creek, in a line, as their parents lead them thru the tall grass. What a sweet sight to have seen. |

I was coming to light that was green but the line of cars wasn't moving and then I saw why. We have a large pond down the road that is frequented by an extremely large family of geese and a few of them were walking across the road from the woods to the pond. There were about 7 or 8 adults, 4 adolescents and 2 little goslings in that awkward stage where they are all legs and their fuzzy yellow fluff is changing to soft grey so it makes them look like a bit like a rock 'n roll Fraggle. They toddled along for a few minutes. Everyone was patient and no one yelled or honked. It was quite a lovely moment! |
Thoughts of yesterday...how nice it was taking the Indian out for a long ride along the coast while the sun was setting.

I have to give praise to Geico
took the car to one of Geico's one stop shops and I was treated like royalty. They are paying for a rental car and it is being billed directly to them from Enterprise. They gave me this top of the line Mazda CR 5 with all the bells and whistles.
Really enjoying myself. Now I want a new car but....alas, not in the card |

some help finishing the last of the yard work :)

As I said before I get this rental car and park it in my garage (tandem spot). I usually get home first and my daughter parks behind me. She comes bounding into the house saying (because she LOVES cars) omg, where's Mom, I think someone parked in her spot. My younger daughter decided to go along with the plot and she said, really who would do that? My older daughter sees me and says you got a new car, OMG I want to drive it. It was funny at the time because she thought another neighbor let someone else park in our spot and was going to knock on doors asking who the new car belonged there because her mother needed to park there when she came home. HAHA

My precious little orangutan that I adore so much, has been chosen as a finalist in a Furry Friends Film competition on Facebook! We [my little guy & I] would absolutely LOVE it if you could go there and vote for us by "Liking" his photo! That is, if you like him. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...2371765&type=1 Love. |

doesn't seem plausible from a member of Congress
but the member of congress was Michelle Bachman
"This nation has gotten away from the principles of the founding fathers under the failed leadership of Barak Obama. This country can use a President like Benjamin Franklin, again" Ben Franklin? was his greatest achievement as a president flying that kite. She probably thinks he is one of the presidents on Mount Rushmore, too. lol |
Goodbye Blondie
So I've cut of my almost waistlenght blonde hair up to my chin and dyed it copper. It looks really good and so far feedback has been positive. It feels great to not have all that hair getting stuck everywhere:)

Waking up for an early assignment that cancelled and being able to go back home and sleep a few more hours! :-D

Pumpkin, pumpkin, and more pumpkin! What respectable porcupine could resist this Halloween feast? Teddy Bear, the talking porcupine, sure can't resist -- he indulges! Listen carefully, as he's talking with his mouth full.
