my heat went out last night. it's 54 degrees in here. heat and hot water use one boiler, so we have no hot water either. this is friday. before christmas weekend. my landlord will be getting "someone" over here "in a coupla hours."


am i in a play? a really long, dark play? like a sartre play?

About six weeks ago, we found a kitten on our driveway nearly starved to death. She was so sick and weak she couldn't walk.

Food and water, expensive vet visits, and daily medications have made her much healthier. In addition, we found out she isn't a kitten after all. She is a very petite 10 year old.

The problem (besides the fact we didn't need or want another cat)? She came into heat on Christmas eve.

I will be making Velcro a spay appointment as soon as the clinic opens today but in the meantime what do I do about her discomfort? Any advice is appreciated.

My Christmas was very "Unusual"...It started Friday evening when the neighbor I accidentally sent the dirty text to showed up at my house with a wagon full of wine and snacks !!!! Yeah....I could have tapped that if I wanted to !! ....I'm just sayin'.......

So I bought an Oster blender at work the other night, and it is also a portable 20 oz. cup with a screw-on top. All I can say is I LOVE IT ♥ I have had three drinks today - this morning was a half banana, a cup of pineapple, a cup of raspberries, a cup of milk and a tbsp of sugar. Second was milk, with some coffee and vanilla chai powder and chocolate syrup. Then I made one with oj, a banana and a cup of pineapple. Decided I needed to eat some of our fruit salad from last week (apples, pineapple, grapes, watermelon, peaches and pears) so I put it all in the cup with a dash of milk - awesome! Totally worth the $23.99. Clean up is just rinsing a blade!

Thinking this will help my losing weight all the better, if I don't mind buying fruit constantly ;)

Going with Bard to hys physical therapy appointment tomorrow and working out on the machines - something I haven't done in a few years :| Secretly looking forward to it though :)

Today I discovered that oink is like that, too. (Discounting boink as too slangy.)
