I thought the cats were bad about waking me up! I'm dog sitting Charlie the Bichon Frise and he's like a jumping little spaz when he wants u to get up! They are all fed and settled down now so maybe I can enjoy my coffee.

Ive got the football playoff games on,while i do simple chores and work on my 2017 taxes. Ive read the sunday paper while sipping iced mocha.For the past few months i have been slowly going thru All my things with the thought of if i havent worn it or used it for years.....like YEARS! Then bye-bye.So i will pick something to rummage thru.Taking it all to thrift shop. Have a good day! |

Today it is a balmy 38*, which is the first time it has been above 33* in 3 weeks! To celebrate, we drove to the car wash to remove the salt from the truck...and grab a burger at steak and shake. Nom nom Have a lovely day! (f) |
Happy Sunday...
I made a plan...brunch downtown and there was a jam session going on. Plus, we found a spot for "family". We are going back....soon. Stopped at a hip hop vintage flea market...mainly clothes..I was hoping for some cool stuff We ended up at a bookstore. There were goodies to be had there! Brought home wings for dinner and football on the couch. Well, I'm on the couch, someone else went to take a nap! |

I rose early due to the dogs waking me up: I sat out on the patio deck, while the dogs barked and played in the back yard, watching the sun rise and the glow on the tiny slivered moon. Woke up early, made dinner for breakfast. I read somewhere metabolism is at it's peak in the morning? I thought it was while you slept but in any case it seems to be working so why mess with a good thing - I've lost 8lbs so far. Anyhow the cats are outside doing their morning do. After breakfast I'll wash up the dishes, have some coffee, fiddle online a bit more. When the cats come in for their morning nap I'll use their down time to work on things up for the craft swap. No formal plans after that, other than maybe a little laundry. It's a peaceful morning and outside it looks like it's shaping up to be a great day. :)

I had a lovely, light breakfast with chickory coffee and some banana nut cake. Tiny Dog did not want to go out in the rain, so she was quick about it. It's cloudy and gloomy outside - the perfect day for staying in bed. Hope everyone has a great week! |

Easy-peasy
Still recuperating from two weeks of flu hell. The early morning mist gave way to a rainy day. Not pounding, just a steady drizzle. Perfect for quietly lounging, classical music and candles. Read some of my book and went on-line for some garden ideas as I plan to re-do the side bed this spring. I'm not much of a tv watcher but did flip it on and watched a show narrated by Penelope Keith called "Hidden Villages." She was touring Royal Deeside, Scotland and it was gorgeous. Need to add that to the travel list. I also put the word out among friends to pick a Braves baseball game and let's all go as single tickets are now on sale.

This morning was nice. I got up around 6, messed around with the cats, went to the gym, came home, ate, showered, got ready for work and snuggled and kissed on DC before work.
