Great!!!!!! :sunglass:

Bèsame* 04-28-2016 08:17 AM

sluggish....leg cramps last night had their own agenda. It's coffee for now, but lots of water today!

It's those 12 hour days, working on my feet. Marble tile is not my friend on long days!

cinnamongrrl 04-28-2016 09:07 AM

Better...

Just hearing my mom's voice improved my day...then followed up by talking to my eldest...that abd I cleaned my house. That always gives me a change of mood...

randrum 04-28-2016 09:31 AM

Woke up feeling pretty bad. Decided it was time to see the doctor. Sinus infection.

Eat foods with a lot of potassium, like bananas or one of these foods. Potassium helps reduce muscle cramps. Also you can drink dill pickle juice. That's a trick I gleaned from professional sports coaches.

Also, get some good gel insoles for your shoes if you don't have them already. My feet and legs hate hard floors as well.

I'm very aware of the potassium need, I have bananas and cantaloupe here now. Oh, and the shoes...lol...from one who is on her feet, I know the shoe tricks as well. It was an extra active day, and I know it was lack of water.

Sometimes, just the height of my heel can bring on a cramp..lol. Ouch!

The pickle juice sounds interesting, however, I'm so limiting my salt intake.

Any other tips???

I feel weak, oh so weak tonight.... After "winning" all the business "battles" out there I'm finally home.... The house is so cold tonight... I am so cold... Wrapped up in my bed, shivering... My spirit is playing hide and seek with me...I don't have strength to try to retain or regain it... I don't have strength to fight anymore to rebel or chase anything... No seeking.... No thinking... No feeling... To hide, to sleep.....perchance to dream...

cinnamongrrl 04-29-2016 12:44 PM

Worried...

I just got back from the Social Security office. I had to apply for a replacement card...

The clerk told me there's a limit on cards and I have had 3 since 2005. Ummm that's news to me.

I asked her for info on where and when the cards were gotten. One was from Palm Springs California. I've never steppes foot in California.

There wasn't much else she could offer for info. Apparently their screening process wasn't as stringent then....seriously.

The only other thing I can think of is to exercise. Strengthen your core, legs and calves, specifically.

Sounds like you have the options covered, so I'd check with a medical professional at this point if it's that bad.

I feel pretty fantastic..

I had an awesome hike...over did it in all the best ways. Challenged myself and didn't stop for nothin.

Now I'm that pleasant kind of exhausted. My mind is clear and my inner battery is recharged. I'm just a happy girl :)

JustLovelyJenn 04-30-2016 11:38 PM

Busiest week...Mother's Day is bigger than Xmas in my world. Just finished a super busy weekend. And today, I went in early and cleaned Windows for an executive visit later this week.

No real change, the meds are helping her eat but I am still waiting for change. Her face is still swollen.
Thank you for asking,
Chad

Orema 05-04-2016 08:04 AM

Good but tired and crazy busy. Will probably work this weekend. Thank goodness I have a manager who has my back and I have a steady gig—life could be worse.
