I wanna know who went home... I hope it wasn't lauren she really is my favorite as far as vocals go. Though all three of them have so much talent.

The verses fitted nicely in his lower register and were predictably warm and mellow. Unfortunately, the chorus, which is high and somewhat soaring, sat in his upper register like a baby in a wet diaper. And,whats up with the slogan "Scotty, the body"? Are you fuckin' kidding me? C'mon now people, let's not get crazy with that stupid saying. It's SO non-fitting for him in particular. Lastly, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's an emotional thing for everyone to get up there and perform and be in this competition, however, all around... Lauren, baby girl, I hope you win and dig your voice. Oh, I sooo needed that laugh. I too hope that Lauren wins, for the sake of winning, but even if she doesn't, she'll have a record contract with less limitations than the AI contract. The girl has pipes, no one can refute that! |

I agree with "Haley's look" when she found out she was gone. I also noticed the look on Lauren's face when she looked at Haley. It was almost like she was a tad bit scared of what to do next. Extend a hug to her or run.
Made me feel a bit uneasy for Lauren. I did enjoy a lot of Haley's singing...but that attitude? No, not so much. That alone was enough to be happy to see her go. Too bad too...she had talent for sure. Lauren and Scotty.....good country combo. Love them both but my edge is for Lauren. They will both make it big though....no doubt. |
