Watching my niece pay for an elderly couples meal when were having lunch then watch my nephew pay for and elderly lady's purchase in Walmart.... Now that made me proud love to see that at the age of 16 they know how to pay it forward

Going to Genesis' work holiday party. A great group of people and I made "friends" with some of them. She is very new there and to get an invite was a surprise.
Of course all of here co workers love her!

My daughter telling me that it takes her longer to get ready because she cares about being fashionable!

How old is your daughter? What age does that start?

She just turned 12 in October.... but its been about a year of her really caring about that stuff.

a wonderful chat with a wonderful young lady. Sometimes a young mind can teach and old girl so much.

A second job interview that went beyond well; it almost couldn't have gone any better! And also, the more we discuss the job, the more interested I am in it.

The 3rd interview had to be postponed due to a personal emergency on the part of the last interviewer, but will be conducted via telephone later this week.

I'm all smiles right now. It has been and continues to be an incredibly challenging week, but I feel goodness afoot.

When I got home, our old, arthritic pup started running wide circles around me like he was some kind of crazy race horse. A decision I'm sure he will soon regret. He is feeling his oats today!

Being given an important role in my new job...and only on my second day...

Our roommate is scrubbing the kitchen, including the oven!

A man at the pool complimented me on my swimming and was very encouraging. He wasn't hitting on me in any way, and the buzz of that compliment is still going :).

Our new house starts escrow tomorrow! :)

Now we have to start packing. :blink:

Coffee making guy bribed me with making yet more coffee....since I have to wake up at 5am to give him meds...

(he doesn't know I'm up at that hour anyhow! shhhhhh )
