Question

When a person is using the invisible feature, are they invisible on the "Who's chatting" list, as well?

DamonK 09-18-2011 05:10 PM

I was talking to MBE earlier...

And I wish there was an option to receive 8 hour e-mail updates.

I can look for one but this one may not be easy to find.

DamonK 09-18-2011 05:19 PM

I didn't think it would be anywhere. I can dream though!

Hmm. Maybe should invent it.

Could you do the one that sends an email for each post?

Try it again, I have been messing around in the back end and had the remote authentication turned off for a minute. :)

I see strappie is now in there.

What is the total allowed?

Also, you should charge like 25 cents a head and make some money off of chat. :tease:

The total allowed is 25. :)

And don't think I havent thought about charging $12 a year for chat in order to keep underage users out.

Hey, that actually is a really, really good idea! I think $1 a month for chat is more than fair. Meaning, I can't imagine people balking at that. And of course it will cover the extra cost of chat the site has to put out.

Toughy 09-18-2011 08:28 PM

we need to be careful about even 12 bucks for chatting.......there are people on this website that cannot afford 12 bucks a year and some of them have no community interactions except for chat....

I guess this is as good a place as any to post this question. Now I have to figure out the question part of asking a question. My wife noticed when she was up at 5:30 that I was listed in who's online as viewing user control panel. She looked over at my desk in case she missed me but I wasn't on my computer. I had been asleep since midnight. I noticed the same thing the other day when I went to bfp and it said she was playing mahjong so I casually asked her how the game was going and she frowned at me and said she hadn't played mahjong that day at all and wasn't even at bfp. There is a question in there somewhere. Not sure what it is though. Have you heard of this before? Maybe I'm asking if this is just a quirk and I shouldn't worry about it or is there something wrong? Could it be that our computers are up to no good when we aren't looking? Maybe the revolution is in process and artificial life has begun their take over.

Do you leave your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) open at the site or on the arcade or do you close it down? Generally, the forums will indicate what you were doing last for at least 20 min after inactivity.

Well that makes sense. But no I close my browser. As a matter of fact I closed my browser and went to bed at midnight. My wife saw me listed as viewing control panel when she got on her computer at 5:30 AM before work. We have separate computers and I noticed the same thing happening with her. But maybe its just our computers acting weird. No biggie. Mostly I was just wondering why it would say I was on when I wasn't for such a long period of time. Twenty minutes, even an hour I can understand but 5 1/2 hours is excessive. But it's probably my computer. It's a bit wacky.

Wishlist? Hmmmmm......

Sorry if this has been asked, I don't have time to look through the pages on this thread. I'm an app whore. So, any plans for a BFP app?
