still in shock about what happened in Paris. my fiancé and I are trying to understand what happened and why.

Still in shock that a friend was diegnosed with cancer in Oct and this month she passed away because it was to far advanced. Just ..... Stunned

I feel good! Sitting here in my warm sweat pants, long-sleeved tshirt and thick socks up to my knees ... eating Fritos and Bean Dip, drinking a Coke.

Oh, it has been such a grand day! Loving this cooler weather. Hope the barking spiders won't get too rough later tonight.

Well considering I just had one of those old heavy glass cooking bowls (the top) come loose from the base then bounce off the top of my head like a ping pong ball. Yes it hurt, bad enough I even cried then said several words that I wont type out. I have a nice egg size lump on the top of my head that will be pretty sore for a while. I put ice on it right away then called a Doctor friend of mine who came over to check it out (someone I use to ride horses for) he said it looked ok but to be careful and watch for anything out of the ordinary but I will probably have a whopper of a head ake (sp?) later.

Tired and blue, but at least I'm not grumpy. I was really annoyed that I had to work this weekend, but I have a good manager who's been working very hard (as hard as I've been working), has never made a commitment without letting me know, and usually has my back. We all let stuff fall through the cracks sometimes.

Feeling the hormone level drop big time this month, lol.
 

Oh full of fury, add a generous dollop of self-righteous indignation (with judgmental, please) and just a dash of self-loathing to top. You know, kind of like a garnish.

I can't say that this is the jolliest day of my life.

I'm making the best of my day by cooking up some scrumptious food in the kitchen. So far, I have an simple brown sugar, oatmeal cinnamon spice cake baking in the oven. I also have a kettle of hot water on the stove, for tea. I also have a bunch of huge bratwurst (spicy and mild) that is baking on another rack in the oven. That's what's on the supper list for tonight. You'd be welcome to come over for supper. We could talk for a spell, but you have to bring your t.v. because I don't have one, and we could channel surf news stations and critique the latest news in the world. :)

My new client took an hour longer than expected...and my regular one after that was just challenging. I'm ready for a tubby and my jammies...like stat.

I'm still sick with a cold. The congestion is the hardest part to deal with now that it's been a few more days passed. I hate getting sick. UGH

Hungry but too lazy to go and get anything else from the kitchen. I had a box of TGIFriday's hot wings and wish there had been 2 boxes in the freezer instead of one. I did not add any of my Texas Pete hot sauce so it was unnecessary to try out my new trick from Gemme - put sugar on my tongue when the flames flare up.

Gemme, I think cinnamongrrl meant she would take a bath when she said "tubby." Hey cinnamongrrl, right or wrong??

Semi annoyed. I know my grandma doesn't mean any harm, but telling me that it's too late for me to have kids every conversation is getting old (no pun intended).
