.....something quick and easy from Trader Joe's.

I didn't really have an appetite for food tonight, so I settled for ice cream with pecans, unsweetened chocolate chips (i'm weird like that) and caramel sauce.

Okay. I lied. I made a simple French beet dish and an oven-roasted sweet potato. We'll see how my sweetie likes this experiment...

I have no idea..forgot to take something out for dinner

I was craving Mojo pork so bad that I stopped by Publix deli on my way home and bought some for tonight. I'm having the pork, collard greens with my homemade peppa sauce, and a little baked mac-n-cheese.
While there I bought a nice pork loin and will throw that in the crock pot tomorrow, along with my own Mojo sauce, and have that tomorrow with some of the veggies I roasted last night. :) Love that stuff!

Fried bologna sammich on toast with cold canned mandarin oranges. Keepin' it classy southern-style. It really did hit the spot!

5 dollar cheap Chinese...Hunan Chicken to be specific...

I got it for lunch but had plenty for dinner and more for lunch tomorrow...

I had a Miranda moment when I went in to order and she remembered me and said "extra spicy??". It's only the second time I've been there though...

NOTE:

I brought my own tupperware to forgo the usual styrofoam ickyness. They were more than okay with me doing this. If anything, it seems they gave me more food than usual. I'm glad it didn't present an issue. She didn't even bat an eye. Nor did I have to explain lol Now to make a habit of doing this...I always mean to leave some tupperware in my car for leftovers when I eat out...this was never an issue in Asheville since just about ever place uses the compostable take away boxes...

I fixed me a ham sandwich on whole wheat,then I had a slice of mile high apple pie I made today...my bad, but dam it was good.

I made the kids spaghetti and meatballs and we had meatballs with mushroom and gravy, rice and broccoli and yeast rolls

I was supposed to fix tacos but ended fixing bacon cheese burgers with grilled onions n mushrooms.

We had oven roasted pacific salmon, boiled potatoes and steamed broccoli...
Option of ice cream for dessert...no takers yet!

I was going to have a store bought BBQ chicken leg but some woman in the check out line pointed to my chicken leg and said that the chicken had probably had a horrible life in a chicken factory and been processed under filthy and inhumane conditions. I bought shrimp instead. Seems no one gives a damn about shrimps in the check out line.

I have a loin roast in the oven that I rubbed with Dijon mustard and then topped with shredded horseradish so that it will have an awesome crust. I will be having some of that as soon as it is done, along with stewed sweet potatoes, green beans, broccoli, onion and carrots.
