An old friend stopped by. Laughter and lots of catching up. It's good to just relax and talk with someone you share a herstory with. I never take a friend for granted. They are precious to me. :rrose:

Spent the day going through my 3rd bedroom which turned into a junk room when I moved in. So today it got an over haul and now is an actual bedroom/office.
This made this person very very happy!! |
I had an adventure day yesterday. I set out with some idea of where I was going but went where the wind took me. I saw a beautiful waterfall, a natural waterslide, and many hiking places. I actually ended up where I had once visited with my late dog, Cricket about 4.5 years ago....very happy pretty day spent with my pup :)

My eldest child.. she texted me that she was feeling sick...I told her she should go see her gram (my mom) and let her take care of her...
Within 5 minutes she's calling me...she tells me she was just telling her friend she wished I was there...she just wants her mom! I told her...I'm 42 now...and when I'm sick, I STILL want my mom...and always will :) |
On a simular note my youngest who is living with me for awhile came home tonight and informed me that as she approached our front door she told a neighbor happily " yeah it's my house that smells that good" I was grilling fajita meat.... BIG smile.
