Pat Robertson Says Woman ‘Going To Hell’ For Living In Sin w/Man: Like She Just 'Killed 5 People'





Televangelist Pat Robertson warned a woman on Thursday that her daughter would go to hell if she continued to live with a man who was separated from his wife because living in sin was like being a serial killer.

“My daughter is a Christian and a good person,” a viewer named Brenda told Robertson in an email. “She lives with her boyfriend and plans on marriage, but he has to get a divorce first. Will they go to hell for this sin?”

“The answer is yes!” Robertson insisted. “She’s a good person, but she’s living in adultery. That’s Hollywood. ‘Oh, he’s a good person, but he just killed five people, and he threw his mother down the steps. But he’s a good person.’”

“Nonsense!” he exclaimed. “It is adultery! She’s living with a married man who is still married, and she’s a good person? Baloney.”

Hubble telescope captures 'smiley face.'

The Hubble Telescope detected a "smiley face" out in the far reaches of the universe. The grinning figure actually shows an enormous galaxy cluster. SpaceTelescope.org explains:

"In the case of this 'happy face', the two eyes are very bright galaxies and the misleading smile lines are actually arcs caused by an effect known as strong gravitational lensing.

Galaxy clusters are the most massive structures in the Universe and exert such a powerful gravitational pull that they warp the spacetime around them and act as cosmic lenses which can magnify, distort and bend the light behind them."

The smirking smile and the contours of the face are caused by that warping and bending of light around the cluster. The effect is also known as "Einstein ring."

Australia's oldest man spends time knitting tiny sweaters for rescued Penguins

When Alfie arrived at his new home, an elderly-care village on the New South Wales Central Coast, he was immediately asked if he could put his well-known knitting skills to good use. Around that time in March 2014, Phillip Island’s Penguin Foundation requested the help of knitters around the world to make sweaters for penguins who had fallen victim to an oil spill. So naturally, Alfie signed up!

Sweaters are vital in the rescue of penguins affected by oil spills. A patch of oil the size of a thumbnail can cause their feathers separate and get matted together, allowing the cold to reach their otherwise protected skin. Penguins who are covered with oil will instinctively try and clean themselves by picking at their feathers with their beaks, this causes them to ingest oil which can damage their digestive system. Placing sweaters on rescued penguins prevents them from ingesting any oil while preening and keeps them nice and warm.
