13 mins from my house was a picnic at american lake! I volunteered to be the BBQ cook so 2 cases of hot dogs and hamburgers later JESUS! i was tired. 2 bald eagles tried to get this very small puppy from the group. Puppy was ok !

i,m home with the help of aleve and in my recliner! it was a very nice day!

Happy Sunday morning friends,

The baby kitty and I stayed in bed late this morning. I have a few chores today but it should be an easy day.

It's once again hot hot hot. 11:43 and it's 91 ughhh. Red went out to do the weekly grocery shopping. I am spending the day keeping cool.

Wow I didn't get a chance to post till now!!!!!! And I always looked forward to the Sunday morning thing!:phonegab: Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend and is gearing up for a safe, positive week ahead.

I've been awake and out of the bed since 3 am. Paid some bills. Put in my order for grass fed meat for the month. Now I am cooking sausage and eggs for breakfast. I have some things to do around the house, then I am heading to the gym if it is not storming too badly.

I woke. Showered. Having coffee now and have some laundry going. Will be getting a few things done around the house then off to work in a couple hours.

It's cold and raining- which is such a nice change of pace! Was hard to get up this morning but had to go out and do a few things. Back home now and trying to figure out the rest of the day... and now I want pancakes.

Good Morning Everyone!
We are having a little bit of a cool down until the Heat Dome settles in this next week. I'm super excited about next week. We are going to Eureka Springs for a much needed long weekend. Visiting haunted hotels, joining a drum circle and just relaxing. School starts the next week for Red so we will both be hitting the ground bright and early.

Plan on doing very little today other than getting ready for the week. Hope everyone has a nice slow day and great week ahead.
