Today my devotional candles were burning and I lite up my incense. No rhyme or reason for today. There is just so much suffering. People have so much on their plate, and don't post about it. I know I don't. I was listening to something that Ted Kennedy said once in an interview with some reporter. He said that in life there are 3 stages. The first stage you are young looking foreward to new beginnings and having new experiences. The second stage was the actual experience itself. Then the last stage of life was remembering the celebrations, the experiences one had, and all that was inbetween. There was really nothing left to look forward too. I look at some people who are my age who are really living at the last stage when they should be living life to it fullest. So really I think that is who I prayed for today looking back. I always pray for the sick, poor, and needy. :vigil: I wish everyone here love and peace, Andrew |
Today I am praying for people who are lost, alone, and lonely - not only in Japan but world over. I also am praying for those who have no family. Nobody to call for no reason at all other than to just talk. I am praying for those who suffer from all kinds of addiction, mental illness, terminal illness, and such. Am lighting a candle for myself today.
Doc found a lump of some sort in the area of the left side of the thyroid gland. Problem is, I had most of my gland removed in 1986 due to a goiter. Nothing should be in that area! I have an ultrasound today. And yes, I am nervous. Folks: if you have your health, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING! Nothing else really matters. |
