Well no rest for the weary. I was going to nap but then I reached in the fridge for milk and realized I have strawberries to slice and sugar and blueberries to put up in the freezer. Then there are the red bell peppers I bought on sale to chop up and freeze, plus two large bunches of celery to deal with, as well as all those chicken trimmings. I bought a bunch of whole chicken breasts rather than boneless skinless and really shouldn't have because by the time I was done turning them into cutlets I had so many scraps it would actually come out cheaper to just buy them as I usually do. That is unless waste not want not I do something thrifty with the scraps. Which I forgot about and need to get done today or lose them to spoil. Oh drudge. I guess the easiest, most economical thing to do with them now would be to make chicken soup. I wonder if I'll remember how. I know there are all kinds of recipes online but I used to make really good chicken soup. Seriously good soup. I gave someone the recipe once and permission to use it in her restaurants and it went over very well. Now I'm not sure exactly what I did. I just know it took a really long time. Well I don't know anyone who owns restaurants to impress today so as long as I can stand it. If I can't my sons will enjoy it, they're nowhere near as fussy as me when it comes to food.

Yesterday I went to a farmer’s market with my sister, then out to lunch and property shopping with my Kasey and my sister...fun times!

Today I am not getting out of my jammies, and I will have an overeasy day.

We have had breakfast (turkey eggs straight from the farm, and bacon) and we are catching up on our reading.

We have a couple of errands still to run, and a possible property to tour...later I am throwing together a huge taco salad for the family because it is freaking hot, and we like taco salad! Lol

When I did not see this on the front page I thought wait maybe it is Saturday because someone always writes in here. Then I looked at a calendar and realized I still have (some) of my marbles.

My Sunday has been good and peaceful. A good mix. I have accomplished some things on my list that are just for me, so even better.

Tomorrow will be here soon enough, right now I am just enjoying the day.

happy sunday! my niece leaves tomorrow! (we did lots of "staycation" things like king spa, lewisville lake, hawaiin falls waterpark, thrift store shopping, we puppy sat and did some crafting (washi tape stuff), went to the galleria (ice skating, jamba juice and earthbound) she saw downtown dallas and a neighborhood duck pond, she also experienced her first drive in movie (mama mia here we go again)) have a good week!

My Sunday morning has been over-easy thus far. I slept in and woke to a gardener and her sweet words. The plan for today is to cook a little, clean a little, and relax a lot.

I slept in and then laid in bed for hours just thinking. I fell out of bed last night on to the floor. Haha! I had a struggle with the blankets and that caused me to fall out of bed. :cowboy:

I plan to cook mom and I a big brunch and lay around all day resting.

I'm having the best morning. Only bad thing – I've run out of dish packs so unless I want to do them all by hand I'll have to wait to run the dishwasher until tomorrow. Tomorrow it is! Happy Sunday all.
