Enjoying my morning coffee while fussing over the petunias I planted yesterday. They look great on the front porch. Ohhhhhhh and the hummingbird that showed up this morning. I put up a new feeder yesterday and was wondering how long it would take for those little guys to show up. :)

Realizing this morning that yesterday was my anniversary, and it whizzed right by. May 15, 8 years I ago I had a total radical surgery for endometrial cancer. Those that know me ~understood that I Knew they had made a mistake. Surely they had it wrong.... and it must be prostate cancer. Celebrate...life :mohawk: |
the above post did. yayT!! :cheesy: dont know about later this afternoon, but i dont rightly care, so thereyahaveit. right nowwwww...insanely loud and obnoxious music is making me smile. a lovely pedicure with yummy red polish will make me smile soon. and some really kick ass people in my life have made me smile lots. You know who You are. :) |

What made me smile today...
Being asked by the staff that I worked with today to give three adjectives that would describe the overall feel of the clients/atmosphere on our shift in order to close out our end notes. I chose: moody, restless and still. The clients were moody and restless but the atmosphere was still and quiet... Staff and supervisor both liked my choices. They were happy to see new adjectives in the logs. LOL they have no clue just how adjectively full of it I can be. I'm gonna liven that place up yet!! :) Sitting at the square in the middle of downtown waiting for my transfer bus to pull in for my ride home and three teens from the shelter came over to talk with me. I think it's awesome that they feel comfortable and safe enough to hang with me for a bit outside of my "work" mode. I still have to maintain that level of professionalism with them but it's freakin' cool still the same!! :) |
