I pan grilled the last of the burger patties I had in the freezer, re-heated the leftover green beans from last night and made a salad of arugula topped with homemade spicy mango/avocado salsa.

stargazingboi 03-08-2015 06:01 PM

I made a southwest twice baked sweet potato with cheese and guacamole...with that I served avocado tomato egg rolls with a cilantro dipping sauce

young blood had a Memphis rub on chicken, with diced potato sauteed in butter, salt and pepper...cheese poppers and cauliflower

MsTinkerbelly 03-08-2015 06:43 PM

I'm baking a chicken, but have no idea what we are having with it.

Maybe some smashed cauliflower and cornbread....hmmmmmm

JDeere 03-08-2015 07:11 PM

Beans and cornbread with sweet tea for a drink

Kätzchen 03-08-2015 07:46 PM

I sautéed turkey sausage, sweet onions, cloves of roasted garlic and grated carrots, then added them to a large pan of French lentils and added smoked seasoning for my BBQ'd Lentils dish.

Very yummy (just had supper).

Ascot 03-08-2015 07:54 PM

It's been an easy, lazy, lovely day, so the choice is clear. French toast.

cinnamongrrl 03-09-2015 06:46 AM

After 3 days without eating much...I want to go to a buffet...

But...

I will make steamed chicken and veggies..lightly seasoned...so as not to offend the stomach gods...again

ahk 03-09-2015 11:16 AM

yesterday: grassfed burgers wrapped in lettuce, caramelized onions, green chile, freshly made mayo. Along with carrot, snap peas, and quick vinegar cucumbers.

I ended up going to Black Mountain since their post office is gooder..

I went and ate at a favorite restaurant. It was warm enough to eat outside so Jacques came with...

We had a panini with chicken, spinach, gorgonzola cheese and a tasty garlic sauce...french fries on the side may have been a bit much. I lamented that there was no pickle..

Martina 03-09-2015 07:21 PM

corkscrew rice pasta

CherylNYC 03-09-2015 07:22 PM

I give up. Pork rinds and gum drops.

PaPa 03-09-2015 07:24 PM

I had an awesome baked chicken, with stuffing, breaded cauliflower, corn, macaroni and cheese, applesauce, and pickled beets. A little bit of this and a little bit of that so leftovers are working down in the fridge.

Jesse 03-09-2015 07:25 PM

I had smoked salmon cooked with some soft scrambled eggs and a little raw white cheddar, with a side of oven roasted asparagus. This is one of my favorite breakfast-for-dinner meals. :)

Bard 03-09-2015 07:43 PM

Ground Turkey, Jasmine rice and Edamame and enough to take for lunch tomorrow too

Cailin 03-09-2015 07:50 PM

maybe just a pear and some yummy goat cheese... (I knew I should have bought some blue cheese)

Gemme 03-09-2015 07:53 PM

BBQ shredded pork, mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese followed by a bowl of angel food cake, cherry vanilla ice cream, fresh blackberries and strawberries and light whipped cream. Yum!

- big Fordhook lima beans with ham bits
- creamed potatoes

(*I wish I knew where those steaks came from. They were in my freezer, and I had re-packaged them in a freezer bag before I froze them. They were so flavorful and tender, but I can't recall where or even when I bought them.)

willow 03-10-2015 08:57 AM

Curried butternut squash soup.

stargazingboi 03-10-2015 09:32 AM

Well, Gren is taking young blood to an award banquet. So, they wont be home to eat. Therefore, I'm thinking left overs for little miss and I

Logicaly 03-10-2015 10:30 AM

Asheville is participating in its annual Dine to be Kind benefiting the local Humane Society. 15% of all sales are donated by 60 participating local restaurants.

So

I went to Ihop for linner..I had a southwestern club with turkey, bacon, LT on sourdough. Side of onion rings and some (not as good as mom's) minestrone soup. I ate only half of everything; my appetite still isn't great. BUT I did get a pannycake for dessert, cut it in fours and sampled all the syrups ( I hadnt been tobIhop in yearsss) I was shocked that I didn't
love the butter pecan...and DID love the strawberry...

femmeandstrong 03-10-2015 05:01 PM

Spaghetti carbonara... without cream... just eggs, bacon fat, parmesan ,pepper...well seasoned pasta...al dente...
and a chopped salad with Cardini's Caesar dressing...love that dressing
