Kelly, my little female bully-mix, woke me up by giving me sweet, gentle kisses on my cheek. Generally, Kelly is a bit sparing with her kisses.

Yesterday did...Clay sent me some of the sweetest, loving and most beautiful texts during my drive home...while crossing the final bridge before getting home i saw a single dolphin in the water below...the warm loving welcome from my Beloved and that certain weiner dog before venturing out...
Clay & i had the yummiest lunch then went to watch for dolphins...we saw a small pod of 3 that was fishing and frolicking for a good while...i even managed to get a pic of two of them! Well their dorsal fins breaking the water...but a pic just the same! After we finally escaped from the automotive dept at WalMart we had the most delicious Greek food i've ever had!! Just before dinner Clay made me cry...but in a very good way...i just love my SSBP! It was a perfect and wonderful day spent on OUR island with the Love of my life! :love1: |
Peeping into the greenhouse and seeing that the Cherokee Purples are coming along nicely. As are the pickling cucumbers and Orange pears.
On return from breakfast seeing something scoot in front of my truck just as I parked. It was two bunnies between my truck and my front door. I think they were twitterpatted. Trying to help make my sisters dream come true. It didn't work out but it made me smile to see her so excited. Breakfast at Tracy's...he is always up to something, picking on some and talking trash, just to get a laugh. Knowing all my laundry is finished and folded or hung up and the dishes are done. How Cracker comes blazing out of her house when you pick up her cage. That critter is lightening fast! Conversations near and far. My Goddaughters poetry. |

A wonderful day with my favorite girl. I drove 12 hours back to spend the day with her and it was so worth it.

Knowing that I will be home in less than a month. Thinking of all the positive changes in my life in the last couple of years. The courage to let go and faith that it will be better than just "ok". It will be spectacular! Making plans to take my nieces horseback riding. Looking forward to big family visits in the near future. :) |

We had a good weekend. :) Nothing was planned but the usual to-do lists but it was nice weather. We walked the dogs, took them for a bath, volunteered, and grilled and had a really nice weekend together. I think these times refresh us for the week to come and rejuvenate our relationship. :love1:
