I'm "supposed" to be learning the new computer and camera system at work before school starts in September. The time is 3 hours off and I need some cameras adjusted. The guy isn't coming until Friday, so I'm in my office
doing nothing, but hanging out on the planet ��

Doing laundry, contemplating a side job cleaning a coworker offered me, laughing with spouse about what we will do with the money we win on the lottery.

Having dinner, trying to unwind from a long day, hanging with the parental units.

I've been killing trees all day at work....making orientation packets for our very sweet new nursing supervisor who is swamped with work. The position was vacant for far too long...

Watching Big Brother. Cooking enchiladas.

Heating up some Amy's Enchiladas because the previous poster's post made me hungry for some. Though it's 7AM here it feels like 7PM because I've started new meds and until I get used to them my days are nights/ nights are days and - everything is all sdrawkcab.

Waiting for my youngest son to come pick me up/take me second hand shopping. He knows all the best places to go as, in addition to working a full time job, he keeps himself busy holding yard sales and selling stuff part time on ebay.

Listening to the book of Psalms on audio tape and feeling very glad I don't live in biblical times. Well I suppose it might have been fun if you were Greek or even better Roman but definitely not any kind of blast at all if you happened to be Jewish or later Christian.

At the park watching my nephew play while I hide in the shade. It's hotter than Hades here.

Taking my nephews to watch our cousin play football. It's ridiculously hot. This should be fun.

Watching a documentary on the downfall of Atari called Atari: game over.

It is really interesting.

What killed it? The game was ET The Extraterrestrial, made for the 2600 console.

The game was called the worst video game ever by gamers and video magazines.

The company wound up with so many millions of unsold cartridges, they buried them in a New Mexico landfill and the company went under.

Postscript: in 2014, fans, original employees and the game designer got permission to to dig up the landfill to try to find the dumped & buried cartridges.

18 feet down, they found ET cartridges in boxes and all the gathered geeks gave a cheer! They did not find millions of them, however, and all involved decided that ET should not take the blame for the death of the company.

There were other factors at work.

They then also decided ET was not the worst video game of all time and that there were plenty that were far worse..

It was sweet.
