Jersey seems like a desert of late. It's warm and sunny during the day, and cold at night. Too cold.
I keep hesitating before I plant things. My little lovely purple and orange (it sounds like a horrid combo, but in nature nothing clashes) violas are thriving, so I planted more stuff today. I highly recommend 'Bloom Plus' for watering your plants. I have been using it on all my stuff this year, even my irises, and they have never bloomed with such ferocity before. They used to bloom a nice, but light purple. This year they are a deep purple and have multiple blooms per stem. Amazing what food and plenty of water will do for a living thing. |

so i'ma readin' a bit on genetics (cuz i'ma weird dat way) and realize me maternal grandmother, hettie, who had 2 diff'rent eye colours (one amber, one brown) prolly had heterochromia.
interestin' thang hea is one cause could be chimerism. and as she doesn't (in my recollection) meet da criteria fo' da otha 2- 3 contributin' genetic/congenital factors, i find dis fascinatin' no end. thangs dat make ya go hmmm... |
