counting down the days til my move....but I really should be concentrating on work

Today I saw my boss at Starbucks cry. Even though her and I disagree, a customer shoved her and swung at her. I have never knew the term, Starbucks family, until today. Several customers came to her rescue and got the customer out of the store until the police arrived. We had a very crazy day and I am sitting here watching a show on Beijing.

I really need to re-start my 30 minute meditations before the day begins. it helps to clear my mind so much better. Today's concentration is much better than yesterday's, so hopefully I can get a lot accomplished.

I need to finish booking my trip to the Macy's Parade in NYC, but as usual, I am being indecisive and dragging my feet on accommodations.

Well. Did something incredibly smart today. I put foundation on half my face (trying a new makeup brand) then forgot about only having half my face made up. Then I ran errands all day with half of a face made up :eek:

Ugh.

Yes :( And I could not figure out why people were staring at me oddly. I just assumed it was all in my head, but then I looked at myself in the car mirror :| (and btw the sun greatly enhances the difference between a bare face and a made up face.)

Next time I will do my entire face, no matter what. It is my worst nightmare to go out thinking I look so awesome, only to find out I seriously messed up lol.

Actually, I think it could be quite a conversation starter if someone was so inclined...people are always wary of the "different" instead of engaging their imagination...

I'm ordering things for my trip at the last minute as usual. I'm sure something will come late, as usual. I'm going to spend my free time getting myself organized and utilizing my several planners.

You know you're single when.........your vacation is spent cleaning your place from top to bottom...so far windows and tracks, dusted and treated all the wood, cleaned and waxed the floors....this is the first two days...tomorrow who knows....
