A sweet new iPhone,,and the fact that my old iPhone wasn't so dead (although it was in rough shape) that I lost everything. With the last little bit of life in the old one, I was able to sync it and transfer everything to the new one! Life is good!

the 2 lovely orchids Damon brought home to me for our anniversary- though not our wedding anniversary, but 4 yrs ago today, we became 'us'. sometimes life gets in the way... things get tended too less, things get put on the back burner, and sometimes they just unwittingly get taken for granted... but when something matters to you like this matters to us, you step back, you step up, and you bring it back to good, a little at a time. like the orchids- that Hy took the time after work at 1am, because Hy knew I would love them... it's those little things that touch my heart, and remind me what we're fighting so hard for (f) |

A very nice grocery store clerk...
After a long day of packing I needed to go back to the store for more boxes but was just too tired. I called to say I was on my way in for boxes (so they don't crush them), and the man in charge of the stockers said "you sound tired...would it be easier for you if I put your name on them and you could get them in the morning?" Oooohhhhhh yea....that would be better, and was so thoughtful of him. Now I can just relax, and start fresh in the morning. :) |
