Yesterday driving home from the grocery store, we passed a group of kids having a lemonade stand in their front yard. Some of the girls were dancing around, holding up handmade pink signs covered in sooooooo much glitter. Of course we stopped, bought a glass each for 50 cents, and then tipped them $5 :)

Knowing that finally all the pieces that had been missing were now where they need to be. I never knew THIS is how it is suppose to be
Waking up knowing that I'm NOT an experiment, that my goals are hers and vise versa. Knowing that we both see our future as bright and happy and full of all things good with the occasional rain fall to help that garden grow.is enough to make any one smile |

seeing our lil chihuahua dog running around and happy. It's like she's been with us for a long time. Feels like home for us all and I can't wait till my baby girl gets home. She will make me smile more as we all spend time together! :)

Knowing I get to spend time with a close friend tonight ~ yeah that makes me smile big time, of course also getting time with my baby on yahoo as well makes me smile :D

It was turkey and cheese sandwiches for lunch today. I set it up buffet style with the bread fanned on a platter, the meat and cheese were all rolled and fanned on another plate, the lettuce leaves where cut cleaned and placed next to the tomatoes and cucumbers that were also cut, sliced and fanned out. Plates and forks started the line and condoments were set on the table. I yelled out for the kids to come on down to lunch. The first guy is all emo and clips the corner, freezes and looks at me...
kid: Wow, this is like catering service or something. me: Nope just a nice summer spread. A nice way to present sandwiches. kid: It's too good of a setup for a place like this. me: Really? Cause I don't think anything is too good for you kids. kid: Wow! Thank you so much! He ate three sandwiches... This was smile worthy! :) |

Finally getting my hair done this afternoon- the dead, split ends are gone, and my colour can no longer be described as dark brown in the front, faded in the back and at the ends, and kinda gray up top.

watching our new rescue pup Gracie settle in seeing her play with Phoebe and the way they run around the yard Gracie only has three working legs one paw never devolved right but she doesn't let that stop her she is a fighter

Hearing my Spritzer telling me all about her day. Oh wow, my woman is so amazingly awesome when it comes to her passion! I could listen to her for hours and never tire with what she's saying...

using my muscles and moving my daughters bed so i could plug in a fan that is currently sucking the nice cool night time air into my bedroom..
Watering my lawns getting them back to green again. my dogter is going a bit crazy with just me around. farmers market in the heat tomorrow evening fresh strawberrys and a big water fountain to play in. |
