A long time ago, in a place far far away, I had a serious crush on LPGA golfer Patty Sheehan. I convinced my partner at the time to go with me to a tournament to watch her play (early 90's). She reluctantly agreed.
So, there we were, in the miserable summer heat and humidity...my g/f as bored and irritated as she can be. But, oh, how I am enjoying stalking Patty Sheehan. We were at the tee, waiting for Patty to go, when I said something like, "isn't this great?!?!?" to which my g/f replied, "this is worse than having root canal...can't you stalk someone who plays baseball?"
