You're not the only one it didn't work for. One woman blogged about how much she cried when it didn't do as advertised.

Just as a side note: Wiki says, "Chemically, the bubbles contained polyvinyl acetate dissolved in acetone, with plastic fortifiers added. Besides the obvious potential for messes when letting children play with liquid plastic, the substance also emitted noxious fumes. The fumes could become concentrated inside the straw, so users had to be careful never to inhale through the straw while inflating their balloons."

Maybe this is the reason for your memory and spelling issues at such a young age as yourself? j/k

Recently, I used some Mother's sealant (Sorry, Stearns, don't know how to post pics), and it was terrible to try to get off the car. I was so glad I did a general test area, first. Usually I never use Mother's and it was sitting around for a year, never used, so maybe that was the problem.

durrrrr, If you want to get that wax off and fix the very slight scratches, try using this stuff: http://www.autogeek.net/wg2000.html and then rewax with something else.

<---wondering if anyone would actually post on a car detailing thread if I started one.

nope, wasnt a cloth, i also always use microfiber. that turtle wax ice is just no good.

i ended up using "Mothers" and didnt have any problems. i would guess that the mothers that you had for a year or so, yeah, it could of been the problem. i always throw mine out at the end of the year and buy brand new next time along with new microfibers cloths.

Thanks for the link, i will order some and try it

i would post in a thread for car detailing. i'm always lookin for other stuff to try / use

I'm a dedicated Meguiar's fan, myself. I used to use Mothers and liked their products, too.

I use Wolfgang for sealant, and Pinnacle for shine (wax).

I just picked up some Meguiar's All Wheel Cleaner and I love it. I used to just use soap/water because the brake dusk came off easy enough, but I really like this stuff.

And yes, I think that durrrr is right....is it about how long I had the sealant sitting around.

Ok, last car wax thing:

I have heard a lot of people say that they love P21S for wax. Either of you ever use it?

I'm sure someone can tell us about these. I've noticed people around wearing them. UGLY SHOES.

Everybody raves about it on the car site that I frequent. At some point I will try it, but I have spent too much on other waxes/sealants to not feel compelled to go through them first.

I think it really comes down to personal choice.

My gf has a pair and she thinks they help her butt. She has one pair that she wears when she walks in the AM and then a "nicer pair" (lol) that she wears to work sometimes. Never wears them otherwise.

I saw some guy on a Harley have them on the other day. Kind of made me laugh.

Yep, I read they are butt helper outers!

So...Dapper, do they work? ;)

Ok, so I just called her...SWEAR TO GOD....and she says that both pairs that she has (the Reeboks and the Sketchers) due indeed work.

I believe that she found the Sketchers to be WAY ugly (ok, uglier), than the Reeboks (plain white), which is why she bought the Reeboks.

Let me know if you need further information....

The soles look like a rocking horse. I would day they are butt ugly, but since Dapper's girl wears them, I'll refrain. But,dayum, what about wearing some cheek lifters instead!

Nope, me neither. I'll have to check it out, though. Whoever ends up using it first has to report back, deal?

They are ugly. It's fun to watch people walk-rock in them, though.
