One of the reasons I love Solondz is that he doesn't propagandize. He draws portraits that he finds compelling or perhaps familiar but never with interpretation or judgement. Some people find that deeply disturbing. What is his point of view? What is he trying to SAY- what should we think. They project their worst traits upon him for showing them that mirror. I love that ambiguity and lack of agenda.

GEMME!!!!

Thank you! Thank you! You really like me!

*tear*

And now, since we're have all kinds of Sally Field in our hearts, I absolutely LOVE this movie and could watch it every day for, well, a while.

Love Soapdish. For me Funny movies are better for repeat viewing, especially improvisational comedies. Anything from Christopher Guest's ensemble is top notch. Spinal Tap, Mighty Wind, Guffman, Best In Show, For Your Consideration...

I so don’t like to see the same movie more than once- I barely have the patience to watch a whole movie all the way through the first time, however for some reason completely beyond my understanding I will watch Men In Black (Both one and two) anytime and love it every time.
