Food Prep
Have been prepping food for the last couple weeks and it's helped a lot. I've lost a couple pounds (thank goodness) and, on the most part have avoided, fast-food joints.
This is what I prepped this past weekend ....
Breakfast for four days:
Oatmeal with chopped apples, unsweetened coconut flakes, hemp seeds, walnuts, cinnamon and I add unsweetened coconut milk before taking it to work. This is a perfect breakfast for me because it has the good carbs, no added sugar, fiber, and tastes good. It's worth the effort to prep on Sunday.
Lunch for four days:
Navy bean soup seasoned with chicken stock, ham hock, onion, celery, sage, rosemary, parsley, pepper, salt. Really tasty, filling, and even with he hock it's better than some fast-foods I'm tempted to have.
Dinner for a couple days:
Baked neck bones with wild rice. Reminds me of my sister and that's reason enough.
