A friend was cleaning out his attic and found a present with my name on it that was already wrapped. He had forgotten what it was, but sent it to me anyway! He said he doesn't even remember what the occasion was or how long ago he bought it. I'm betting it was a birthday present because it was wrapped in Star Wars paper, not Christmas paper.

The Mint App and website at https://www.mint.com

It's a great tool for budgeting your personal finance. You can attach bank accounts, credit cards, etc to it (or not). By attaching accounts you get to see a full picture of how spend and save. You can create a budget with or without accounts attached.

I found a couple bugs and contacted INTUIT, but it's still worthwhile.

And it's free.

If you're a budgeter you may want to check it out.

I'm nuts about it and use it daily.

For my 60s-70s vintage kitchen - you can't really tell from the pic, but there is a chrome ring between the face of the clock and the orange band

These provide awesome protection the same way a N95 mask would provide. I slip them inside a cloth mask, to keep air-borne particulates at bay. Easy to use, and an affordable option to expensive one-use only N95 masks.

Me and Kamala are stylin'. I haven't had a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse All-Stars since about the 5th grade. Well, not blue low tops anyway. I've had a few colors of high tops. And you know that new, first-day-of-school feeling that tennis shoes had when you first put them on? They've still got that.

Stylin’, indeed. I bet they look good on you, too, GM!

I bought my first pair when I was 50-ish. The company I worked for gave everyone $50.00 at a holiday meeting, told us to go and spend it on ourselves, and return for lunch to tell everyone what they bought. I ran to Macy’s and got me Chuck Taylor Converse All-Stars in a soft pink. They were too cute. I could barely wait to put them on which I could easily do in Cali in December and, like you and the VP, I was “stylin’ and profilin’.”

My favorite new thing isn’t all that new, but it’s my current favorite. It’s my pink dolly that’s helping me move these boxes around.

Kanopy is a treasure trove for movie lovers. So many good films.

I'm limited to watching 10 films a month, but there is a "kids" section that allows unlimited views.

I've watched two films so far, bell hooks, Cultural Criticism and Transformation and Chasing Madoff, Exposing the Truth Behind the Infamous Scandal. Both were excellent.

There are LGBTQ films and I came across some gems when searching "lesbians."

They also have about 50 films from The Criterion Collection along with some good documentaries, American, and foreign films.

I came across Kanopy searching for Chasing Madoff using that excellent APP Kelt told us about: JustWatching.

I was delighted to see they have thousands of films.

Best of all is being able to watch these films on your television with "smart" devices like ROKU, fireTV, SAMSUNG, etc.

And all you need is your library card to sign up.

Echo Dot, 5th Generation and Echo Studio speakers by Amazon are my new favorite things.

I've been buying speakers since 1977—and I can't get over how good these speakers are for the price. I bought a couple Echo Dots for $25.00 each and a Echo Studio for $125.00 and I think the Echo Studio is arguably as good as the SONOS speakers and Echo is cheaper. Annnnnd you get more for your buck because the speakers come with Alexa (who deserves a posting of her own).

I also have a Echo Dot, Third Generation that cost me $15.00 and it's perfect for the bathroom. I can easily change the music just by giving a command to Alexa.

I've been holdiing off on getting new speakers for a couple years. I've wanted SONOS or B&O but I don't have that kind of money to put speakers in each room. So glad I held out instead of buying something I couldn't afford or something I really didn't want.

Compression knee braces. What a game changer. The pain from the hamstring injury is not nearly as excruciating as it was. The pain now is tolerable. I'm ordering another pair . Definitely my favorite thing these days😃
