What I'm doing right now is trying to figure out what to do.

Just finished tidying up after dinner..and the house in general..the landlord is coming in tomorrow to do his laundry. I will be at work with Teddy tomorrow, so that's all good...
Now I'm just trying to stay awake...but I have been up since 530..so I guess there is no shame in sleeping this early....lol |

At work and the city is fairly quiet .......fingers crossed!
But tomorrow morning,going to county office to get permit to pour foundation on new garage....then to lil sis,s house to get desserts and left over food to take to fire station and AA hall. |
I just sat down to have a bit of a break while supper is simmering on the stove. I made Pho soup for supper and I also made an Angel Cake to go with a triple berry compote that I put together to serve over the cake, as well as a scoop or two of Vanilla ice cream (for dessert).
I can hardly wait to have supper because while shopping at the grocery store today, I found a set of ceramic soup bowls and matching spoons that are china white and have Blue Dragons, on them. So,,,, after I finish my cup of tea, it's supper time. |

We had a power outage for awhile, so I was just putting candle lanterns away, but not too far away...gonna read while the lights are on ;-)

I've been posting picture of surrealist art (paintings) and I'm also making another batch of Pho! I wish I had Saigon Cinnamon: I read a little bit about how this spice has been used before in Pho and I imagine it's hard to come by. But I want some!

I just clipper cut my hair (goodbye faux hawk) and am now drying off and relaxing after a shower. Next I'll read a bit and head to bed.

I'm enjoying a cup of Earl Grey tea, lounging in bed enjoying an extra day off. The pups were up bright and early (5:15am) ready for breakfast...and I never went back to sleep. The morning doves are cooing, the garden is watered, life is good. :)

I need to get the bookcase in our bedroom cleaned off so I can put away the heap of books that I have in a holding pattern in the living room since yesterday....but I really don't wanna....and that is SOooo not like me... :blush: Prolly gonna finish up the last 30 pages of Half Broke Horses... TEDDY: Hooking up our lovely new wireless printer...been much needed around these parts... :byebye: |
Searching the web site foodfacts.com and realizing that many things I've eaten in the last two weeks of have nitrates in them... maybe that's what's causing all the migraines.

Just got off a phone call with the credit card company. It seems they have detected fraudulent activity with my card, canceled it, then wanted to charge me to expedite me a new one. Get this...$29.99 to receive it tomorrow! Wth! After a short pause, she informed me that I would not need to pay it afterall and it would be waived. Haaahaaahaaa! Unreal!
