I always fantasize about having a place with great architectural detail. I'm kind of drawn to old looking places. Places that tell stories of another time. https://i.pinimg.com/564x/97/40/ab/9...6ec96cf959.jpg |

I don't know about other cities and areas but in Seattle and especially in West Seattle most of the buildings with great architectural designs have been ripped down and replaced with ugly glass and metal structures! Surly this isn't what they are teaching these days in architecture classes.. |

Seeing I'm on a rant.... these newly constructed apartment/condo units have windows that barely open! IF you're lucky, the side windows may crank open a tad the bottom row might as well but not always, believe me me and Mary looked at enough of them to know! |

Quote Very nice. This building - or one very like it - is in Atlanta, in the Poncey-Highlands area. The top floor is a ballroom. Unfortunately, Atlanta has a bad habit of tearing down these beautiful old buildings and putting up new developments. I'm pretty sure this one has been saved, though.
It makes me sick to think of these beautiful old buildings disappearing! They have tore many down in Seattle and Chicago as well! |

Look at the amazing amount of light this room receives! |
I have a dining area in my femme cave that fits my whitewashed bar height 4 chair dining table. I love that table, I'll always bring it with me! Lol. It can open to a circle if needed. I have this metal candelabra that I had bought for xmas one year. I have since removed the xmas trim and now use it on my table. I just ordered flameless and remote controlled candles for it! Kinda looks like this but it has cracked glass covers.

Love the roof-top garden and exposed brick walls. Think I’m ready to start another potted garden on my patio. |
