Laundry
Made potato salad covered the ribs with rub and set to marinade trip to the grocers for forgotten items (briquets) |
I brushed Goldie and got some of her fur mats out. Then I cleaned the litter boxes. Now its time to hit the pool!

I started at 9:30 this morning. It's in the mid 90's and humid, so staying inside the a/c was not bad. I had on gym shorts and a t shirt, but switched to an over sized Tank top....nobody here to see me, and I sifted through 9 file boxes (picture the haystack) looking for the proverbial needle. It was 8 pieces of very important paper that is needed for an afternoon brief tomorrow. I owed this attorney big time........felt good to do this for her.
I texted her to tell her I had all of the pieces, and she is home, dressed similar, working, so I scanned them to her....that will lessen the stress for tomorrow. Ever notice how much *work* work you get done at home.......? Other than that, I made an all veggie, with goat cheese on wheat crust pizza that I am going to throw on a stone on the outdoor grill and lay on the sofa and watch some news. Oh...one more thing......I cleaned up the kitchen after I made my pizza mess. Thats all folks! |

got the family fed, cleaned up the bbq mess and now watching everyone snoozing in the living room lol
it's fun having the in-laws over for the holiday, but I'm ready to have the place to ourselves again. |

Got the lil bbq started when my daughter got called into work for a water emergency.
bbq'd the ribs and some corn on the cob Took dinner over to her office as she had to wait for the plumber Now just kicking back and enjoying peace and quiet and the clean kitchen :) |
Got 8 hours of sleep
Got up and called the vet It will cost about $240 for exam/vaccines/blood work for the kitty since she's never been. Sooo, once the fleas are gone, off to the vet she'll go! Poor baby. |
I'm awake. Yeah, that's about it. lol

Fed the baby boy this morning went to work gave the boy his ear drops fed the birds & squirrels filled the bird baths with fresh water outside trimmed the tree branches weed whacked in the back yard next up, pulling out my clippers and cutting my hair, then hoping in the shower |
I got my sister to buy me a chocolate ice cream cone!
And some groceries for dinner. And then some Pepsi for me. But I had to carry it all upstairs. And we did go to the lake - I did get some nice pics. Hopefully I will remember to post one later! |
Monthly billing of clients is over for another 30 days...:cheer:

Complained to management about my upstairs neighbor.
Almost got lost twice in unfamiliar parts of town. Met some new families. Talked to a bunch of people. Did a ton of paperwork. Made some grits for dinner. Ate a cookie. Reminded self that I am an elitist snob about some things. |

I went to work came home mowed the front, side and back lawn fed and watered the birds and squirrels outside took the garbage to the dump got the recyclables together to take tomorrow morning to the collection site **in half an hour will be taking Moe to the vet I stopped at two stores and bought birthday gift cards for family Stopped at the gas station for a fill up got the mail scooped all four cat boxes and gave fresh water for our boys I think that's it so far ... |
I went to the store on valencia street, as planned...I showed some of my carry bags, and some of my lap-top bags to the owner...she liked them and said she'd be happy to carry them...we are going to do consignment for now, which is fine since she doubles the price, rather than some places which take a higher mark-up...I won't get the same as at a show or selling on line (which I suck at doing)...but, they will get seen, and it's fine by me...I'll go back next week with a selection and see what happens from there...the store is a good fit with some of my lines...
mostly I am glad I Did. It!!...it's such a struggle to 'get out there'...it is for most folks who make things---the whole selling part is the challenge... so, it's not Great, but it's good (for me) and I'm glad I got over myself enough to do it... I did other stuff, but I already yapped about that, and will do more of it in another thread... |
