Naps are good. Naps are even better with a human alarm clock.

The only thing that hit me today was a thought.

You're lucky. If you wish hard enough maybe you'll have a nifty experience like mine. Wish really hard now...

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." - Albert Einstein

I just got the funniest Rep point comment, thank you my friend, I needed a laugh. You know who you are ;)

Strappie 05-11-2010 09:02 PM

My friend called me tonight she was feeling a little "blue" so she said "I called you cause I know you always make me feel better" I thougth that was sweet. She continued the conversation as I'm trying to make her feel better then the bombshell came.. She says, "I'm feeling a little guilty cause everyone says I text too much" she continues to say "I don't text anymore then the next person" (I'm thinking to myself... "OH GOD DON"T ASK ME HOW MUCH I TEXT IN A MONTH" then it she did it.. she had to ask me how much after she told me she texts about 6-7k texts a month she says it's average. Here's were my part that I'm suppose to be "making her feel better" comes into play or NOT....

I swallow and say umm about 300 ... she says..."In a day?" I'm like "No a month" .... she hung up on me.... lmccao

Jet 05-11-2010 09:10 PM

Have you ever bought a boatload of groceries, everything is organized and abundant and colorful in your fridge, and so you don't want to eat anything because it looks so nice and so do the cupboards?

Yep

That's where i'm at tonight...starving.

Enchantress 05-11-2010 09:16 PM

My toes are cold and I may have to resort to putting on socks...

SuperFemme 05-11-2010 10:06 PM

If I put on socks will the mattress swallow me like the dryer does my socks?

Or is that just wishful wishing?

It's my Saturday and I have to go play at the library. If it were for enjoyment purposes, I'd be ecstatic. However, I am not since it isn't.

This has got to be the oddest and yet most compelling commercial on tv here at the moment ...
I can not not watch this whenever it comes on
But I have to admit, I love the 'duck'!

Enchantress 05-12-2010 06:11 PM

I have bing cherries. I won't share. I won't.

The logic of some people baffles me to the point where I wonder why someone hasn't gone Darwinian on their ass.

Hack 05-12-2010 07:19 PM

This makes me weirdly homesick.

The Law of Attraction states that all forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration. The implications of this law are vast, and the law holds true for all known Universes. "That which is like unto itself is drawn." The thoughts we hold attract similar thoughts and become large masses of thought called thoughtforms. The general vibration that a person holds is representative of the balance of their thoughts. As we become aware or conscious of our thoughts, we can raise our vibration by setting forth thoughts that are more in harmony with our desires. When our thoughts are in harmony with our highest desires, we are filled with joy and ecstasy. When we learn to set forth our thoughts consciously, we are no longer victims of our own outdated programming. We increasingly attract thought of a higher vibration and raise the level of thought at which we habitually vibrate.

Lady Pamela 05-12-2010 08:20 PM

Dream

It's not your work to make anything happen. It's your work to dream it and let it happen. Law of Attraction will make it happen. In your joy, you create something, and then you maintain your vibrational harmony with it, and the Universe must find a way to bring it about. That's the promise of Law of Attraction.

You asked so nicely. Of course I'll share. But if they're gone before you get here it's not my fault. Nope. It's not.

Enchantress 05-12-2010 08:38 PM

I seem to have posted this in the wrong thread initially.

To my knowledge it has nothing to do with Butch Femme being antiquated terms...

*blink*

I bought a rib eye, marinated it, cooked it and couldn't eat it. Instead I chose a chocolate snack cup of pudding.

Ugh.

Is rib eye good the next day?

I know that sometimes life feels like you got hit by a car, but does it have to keep backing up and trying again?

If the tubers are still in the ground from last year, they won't push through. We in cold snowy climates, have to dig the tubers up in the fall, and over winter them in a dark 50ish degree place until early summer, and plant them again.

If you did all that, they might just be old and done. If you just bought and planted them, take them back and tell the greenhouse people you want ones that are alive this time.

Hope this helps.

I had a doctors appointment this morning at 9:00 am. Was I there? No. Did I cancel? No. Did I remember the appointment even after a confirmation call was sent to me? No. Was it on my Google calendar? Yes. Is this the only reason I know about said appointment this morning? Yes (because I received an e-mail from said calendar telling me).

Niiiiiiiiice.

Not.

UofMfan 05-13-2010 01:50 PM

I had a super duper wonderful lunch, now I need a nap. I think I will take one!

Apocalipstic 05-13-2010 01:52 PM

A nap would rock!

It's been crazy since the flood and my neck and back muscles are in knots.

Naps should be mandatory. I for one take one whenever possible. Now all I really need to do is get that hammock I have been dreaming about for months!

Naps, it does the body and soul good
