a very sweet old man came to my house today to pick up some things I was giving away on freecycle. He was so sweet. He hand picked a few things his wife would love. She was sickly and couldnt get out so he goes on treasure trips like this to bring her home things to suprise her. Honest to god, I never heard anything so romantic for an older couple!

Taking care
Waking up and getting out of bed. Washing my face and hands and putting olive oil on them. Making cha. Meditating and saying a mantra. Taking care of myself instead of wasting time.

Having a Marilyn Monroe moment as I cupped my hands beneath the hand dryer and the made my hair billow out in that movie star way. I admit. I held it a little too long because it made me laugh and pose in the mirror like a dork. Lol.

Waking up next to my hunny after hy drove up last night to go out to dinner with me :) A friend of ours going and pulling up my resume at her workplace immediately to put in a word for me Knowing the boi is planning something, and not knowing what it is Receiving information on how to get into nursing Knowing that we get to see AbbyGoose next weekend and take her to the State Fair (where hopefully she is tall enough now for the rides - since they tweaked it from 42" to 48"!!!) :happyjump: Life is making me smile! :sparklyheart: |

waking up from my dreams....after having flown all over....in a plane .... going to my past....going home....seeing my mom greet me at the drive as the plane dropped me off....watching my dad cut the lawn....feeling happy.....them telling me in so many words they are happy for me.....welcoming me back home to be loved, for a visit, letting me know they are always there for me now if I need them.....
they are both gone...this was a tremendous dream...filled with so much more but too private to share.... I woke up smiling today.... |

Having lunch with my 3-year old nephew. He was picking the pepperoni off his pizza and I asked him why.
He said cause he doesn't like pickles. :| |
Taking everything off, shedding my day, sliding between soft sheets and my super luxe comforter and reading for three uninterrupted hours. Sleep is nudging me gently and I am happy. Ahhhhh. Sweet dreams, BFP.

While riding shotgun with my friend this morning on the way to get coffee, she closed my hand in the window using the automatic window controls....yes, "ouch"....but she could not stop laughing at my reaction (i didn't think it was that funny, but her laughter is infectious). She's always laughing at me! I'm not sure if that is good or bad, but at least we're not crying (except for those of us who are injured and can laugh and cry at the same time)!
