Woman Church
It's time for Women Church.
Here, we enter the pews in our hearts and listen to the sermon or our hips. We worship the holy trinity: Maiden , Mother , Crone The softness of our bodies is our primary temple, we revere curves and plentifulness and dance to celebrate it , if we like. Our sacrament is seconds on everything we desire and here we heap our plates. We delight in the holy doctrine of supporting deep nourishment and singing sacred praise to our sisters. We tell our stories and braid each others hair while we pray sitting in a circle announcing our power, our tenderness, our beauty, our voices, our grief. We invite the ancestors in for tea and bring all cast-out feelings in from the cold. We paint pictures of goddess relaxing and taking a much needed break while gods massage her feet with oils and feed her grapes. -Chelan Harkin |

"Finding yourself" is not really how it works. You aren't a ten dollar bill in last winter's coat pocket. You are not lost. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people's opinions, and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a child and adult that became your beliefs about who you are. "Finding yourself" is actually returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering of who you were before the world got it's hands on you" - Anonymous
