The north east Florida eagles laid their first egg of the season yesterday. It's the first time I ever saw a Dad waiting with a Mom in the nest bowl for the new arrival to make its appearance. Was very sweet. Dad is usually nearby and comes flying in after the birth to say hello and bring a celebratory fish. |

My last doctor appointment of the year and it was great!
My doc said see you next year and keep up the good work. My blood work was outstanding! It was even much better than when I was 25 years old. That is a lot to smile about. :cheesy: |
The intermittent sunshine we're having today. I love pearly skies, but I also love sunshine. It's seasonally cool today too, so that's smile worthy too. Well, that and pictures of clothes and such, help boost my mood too. :hk28:

Bear in mind that I've a lifelong love of astrophysics and astronautics... - I was reading the comments above, and on seeing Katzchen's comment imemdiately above, I saw not a kawai kitty sitting on a leaf falling from a tree, but a kawai kitty surfing something glowing red-hot down from orbit...
(shakes head, looks again..) - normality is restored - it's definitely a kitty riding a falling leaf. Good! Wouldn't want those paws to get scorched! |
Errands Done In Less Than 5 Minutes, No Traffic
Being reminded once again how stress-free and peaceful it is to live where I do now. I definitely need some company and civilization once in a while, but overall I do love it here and it keeps me feeling peaceful. In a few hours I will enjoy a gorgeous sunset.
