Knowing that tomorrow will be my sister's last day at school. She will be at a brand new school next year so this will be her final day at this one. It's amazing how much she has grown, how far she has come and the fact that she will be in Grade 9 in the fall - such a bittersweet moment but a good one none the less :)

Getting a very important document (addressed to health care providers in this state) passed by the boss on my FIRST edit.. with his response being "Lovin' it!"... My puppies lovin on me and being silly Having a wonderful coworker that's such an amazing support Finding a special bird house for my poor dislocated bluebirds Getting to take this week at my pace Even though my job is extremely difficult, today I found satisfaction in my work and how my persuasive arguments have gotten a "set in stone " boss and system to admit to changes. Satisfaction and accomplisment made me smile I get paid tomorrow! Yayy... it's been hard to adjust to a new payroll, once a month Listening to the wildlife today ...brought me much joy |

Walking out of the door from work today, to see that one of the parking lot kittens was eating happily from a big bowl of catfood.
I guess the ordeal isnt going to be as much of a fiasco as expected. The kittens are being fed and watered, and today I found where they have been hiding, there is an opening behind the flower beds that goes all the way down under the store. So they CAN get out of the heat and into a cooler, shady spot. I will continue to try to rescue them, but for now it makes me happy to know they are being cared for from afar! I also wanted to note the kindness of others amazes me. There have been several people taking turns to feed the kittens, and put water in their big bowl. The people have even taken water bottles and frozen them to stick into the water bowls so that the water stays cool in the heat of the day. Also more than a few that have tried relentlessly to catch them. Hopefully our combined efforts will make for a smooth kitten rescue! Now if only mama would come around... |

Being back home on OUR Island...
Seeing 2 dolphins as i crossed over the Intercoastal Waterway this afternoon... Watching the Spanish Moss sway gracefully in the live oaks... The text from my boss telling me that my paycheck arrived in the mail this morning...silly me i accidentally dropped it in the mailbox yesterday afternoon with the rest of the mail... |

getting a new place knowing Im going to see my girl again tonite and for breakfast in the am KNOWING we dont have to DRIVE 6+ hrs to see each other any longer knowing that everything is falling in place for us |

A relaxing holiday weekend with ONLY. :) An email this morning from my stepdad saying my car would be fixed by the time I return from Canada. :) He was borrowing it while I am gone and someone backed into it in a parking lot while he was inside the store. ARGH! |
