Knife Found Buried on OJ Simpson’s Estate Years Ago Finally Turned Over to LAPD -- Holy crap, I've been waiting for this.

The LAPD confirmed Friday that a possibly blood-spattered knife, reportedly found at O.J. Simpson's estate years ago during demolition but just recently turned over to law enforcement, was being investigated by the police department. During a press conference Friday, LAPD spokesman Andrew Neiman said investigators were looking into whether the knife had any connection to the death of Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994. TMZ originally reported the story before police confirmed it.

While few details from the LAPD have emerged, Neiman confirmed what TMZ reported, that a construction worker may have found the buck folding knife at the estate years ago, possibly in 1998, and handed it to an off-duty LAPD cop he ran into on the street. The officer reportedly kept the knife in his home until he retired in January and was planning to frame it in his home. Neiman said it was unclear why the officer had kept the knife for so long!!!!

I haven't been around much cause I couldn't log on, thanks to Tex and Linus I got that fixed. Not much has gone on except I now have an appointment on the 18th to see the Doctor about surgery on my bad knee, it has become bone on bone so there is nothing else to do as we have tried all there is to be done but that. As much as I dread it I know it should have been one along time ago instead of me having to go through so much pain for so long. I'm on a new med called Oxy morphone that with the tramadol I am taking has helped, but dam it has fucked up my brain cells, I will get off this as soon as I can after surgery cause anything with Oxy may well be addicting and I sure don't want that.
My son bought a nifty 2009 suburban and I got rid of the old cadi ( it finely broke to bad to fix).I now have a nice step up step to use to get into it do if I need to go anywhere I can get in the suburban. It was (is) difficult getting up inside of it to drive cause I can't stand on my bad knee at all to balance to finely getting the thing without a major issue...talk about a comedy of errors should be on t.v. for a big laugh. Anyway I am hanging on doing what I can to deal with it all, hopefully it wont be to much longer till fix day, I hear its a hellish thing to go through but do able. That is all.

Who wants to ban second-hand clothes and cars?

Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda could all ban second-hand clothes and leather.

They make up the East Africa Community (EAC).

The EAC directed member countries to buy their textiles and shoes from within the region with a view to phasing out imports by 2019.

The idea is to give a boost to local manufacturing, and help the economy.

One argument is that the imported clothes are so cheap that the local textiles factories and self-employed tailors can't compete, so they either close down or don't do as well as they could.

When we donate clothing, I betcha most of us had little idea how much was actually sold. No wonder local manufacturers can't compete.

After reading what a scam the donated clothes business is, personally I will take clothes directly to local shelters, domestic violence centers.

Drunk woman hits tree. Drove with it stuck to her car.

This woman's life is going to be challenging for making very poor choices, very glad no one was harmed physically except the innocent tree.

The Illinois woman, 54, is facing a drunk driving charge after allegedly plowing her car into a tree and then continuing to drive with the 15-foot accessory embedded in the vehicle's grille.

Christy was nabbed in late-January after a Roselle Police Department officer spotted her driving with the tree as a hood ornament. Investigators estimated that Christy drove several miles before getting pulled over.

Christy, who was navigating with the 2004 Lincoln’s air bags deployed, told the cop that she recalled hitting a tree, but could not remember where the 11 PM collision occurred. Christy, who was arrested a few miles from her home in Schaumburg, works as a marketing consultant, according to her LinkedIn profile.

After Christy failed a series of field sobriety tests, she was arrested for drunk driving. She is next due in court in April on the misdemeanor charge.
