I went to the same school I mentioned last week (last week?). Had more of a chat with Mr 8 Year Old. Amongst a variety of topics, he wanted to know if people from England are English and people from Malaysia are Malaysian, then what are people from New Zealand? That's pretty damn sophisticated! :)

Observed the two teachers - their lessons were pretty awful actually. But, we had FANTASTIC post-observation discussions which were very productive including telling them that they have homework - that they need to read out to themselves or to each other the strengths they have as teachers because they were so uncomfortable self-validating themselves. Anyway, I have a specific follow-up plan with both of them which I think is achievable.

I felt like I actually knew what I was doing and did it well. :)

Roll on the full-day workshop tomorrow.

That I did not throw my alarm, which sounds like a rooster, at the wall when it went off a hour ago.

Realizing that it has been a month today since she saw All of me.


The day just began so I am sure there are many other smile yet to come.

Today the kid told me that he absolutely LOVES Guy and has never seen me this happy, and therefore we have his blessing.

Watching my boy become a man, it saddens me at times, but I am so proud of him

Christmas in July for my sweetie with all of the Radio Shack electrical things!

I couldn't tell you what they are (even though she explained it all to me) that my butch is going to build some electrical stuff with.

All I remember is a multimeter, switches, LED lights, a big electrical thing with knobs, plus other stuff.

My eyes began to glaze and my brain shut down :seeingstars: but she is happy so that is all that matters.

I am gainfully employed again...

While that in its self is cause for smiling...

The fact that after next week I don't ever have to mop up a urine puddle or scrub a public bathroom again makes me smile hella big time..
