I didn't smile. I laughed hard for about five minutes.
My niece and I are having a sleepover tomorrow. I'm talking to my ex about this and ask if she has bought Ari a new swimsuit. My ex says "no, why would I?" I said "It doesn't fit. Ari tried it on last time and it's too small." Dead silence from the other end of the line. My ex says "How can the swing set not fit Ari anymore? I know the backyard is small, and it's a tight fit to get the swing set in, but it fits." My ex waited patiently for me to stop laughing, with several interruptions to tell me how patient she was being. I'm so glad someone else has my hearing every once in a while. |

I made out like a bandit tonight at auction... including two NEW bed frames (with storage underneath) I'm thinking of donating one to Habitat Restore; a rare, short antique iron sewing table base that I'll make into a high dollar coffee table; a BEAUTIFUL, large antique wooden box with hand cut corner joints that will become a great "upcycled" project; an old, small tool vice; and a new, heavy duty, rolling "shop cart" with 2 deep sided shelves that will make a perfect dog grooming cart to install my large stainless sink on the top shelf (at belly height) after drilling a hole for the drain.
I'm too excited to get some projects done tomorrow. Especially the grooming sink that will make my job so much easier. |

I am smiling so hard at the routine JD and I have fallen into when it comes to FaceTime.
We've FaceTimed every night for the entirety of our dating and I just LOVE how it feels like we are really together. We do our dishes on camera, we talk politics on camera, he reads to me, we take baths...the whole thing. I love our connection. Can't wait to get moved so that it's real and in person every night. :blush: |

I was sitting on the sofa and both kitties wanted up in my lap. I patted my leg and called to Gracie but she won't get up when Loki wants to so he jumped up. I laid back and was watching TV with him laying against me as he watched TV too and he looked up at me and I looked down and it was the sweetest thing. I love my babies when they are sweet like this. It's the best kind of warm 'n fuzzy feeling.

Sweet memories of three butch's I've known over my lifetime.

We had a potluck at work today and we've a young man who fancies himself a budding chief. He's very brave because he'll bring new (untried) dishes! Of course, his food makes me smile ... because it's delicious ... but more than that ... the smile on his face (almost giddy!) when everyone LOVES whatever he brought ... that too makes me smile. :)

My honey....he bought me a Dyson today! The canister type I've been wanting. It's so lovely and blue........sigh.....he's so swell

I'm still in gardenia heaven. Even more now, all the hanging baskets have been brought into the apartment. My building is scheduled to be painted, so I had to bring them all in. I think they like it inside, I can see at least 20 blossoms right now.

Seeing how much my girls work appreciates her. I am so incredibly proud of her for chasing her dreams, never giving up, and always striving for more.

I was pondering yesterday on how much my life has changed in the last year.....
I rediscovered the love of my life Moved back home Bought a house (!!) and started not one but TWO businesses.... I feel blessed beyond compare <3 |
